Swear It All Over Again
Summary: She was given another chance at life, but with it she had many obstacles to overcome. How she overcame then she didn't know, but it seems she would have some help with an old friend of Midoriko. Kagome could only hope she came out of things alive.

Chapter One

Kagome Higurashi always knew her life was something not normal, and she learned that even more so when she was given another chance at life. A chance at life where Midoriko had first come from.
Middle Earth
Midoriko had told her she had first came to be in another world was because of her powers. Miko powers. It was something not common in middle earth. Miko a branch off of elves, they had ears like a human and aged like one until the age of twenty-one and the Miko decides if they shall gain ears like their kin, or be human and stripped of their powers and live a normal life.
On most cases Miko gave up their powers, but Midoriko didn't. She kept her powers till they grew to big and almost consumed her. To save herself she did a ritual she had found deep in the Istar libraries...but she didn't know her powers would react in such away.
When she had awoke she was in a whole new place. It had taken years for Midoriko to get used to the new world. Miko's here were different.
Midoriko had lived many years in that world looking for her way home, and soon she did find it. Before she could leave, a battle happened. This battle cost Midoriko her soul.
Now she was free.
Midoriko was free, and gave Kagome a new life since hers was now gone. The elder Miko had told her she had to earn her stay though.
If she wanted to stay she had to do something of great importance to be able to stay and live out her days in Middle Earth.
What Kagome didn't know what she was going to get herself into when she accepted it. She could have went back to her time, but what good was that if she had no family there anymore.
Glancing up at the sky she sighed again, as she leaned against a tree. She didn't know where she was going...but at least Midoriko changed her clothing and gave her a bag and her bows and arrows to survive in this new world.
Though Kagome didn't know how long she would survive if she knew nothing of the world she was in. She knew her history as a Miko, and she had a little over two years to figure out if she wanted to be human or...be an elf. Which was something she didn't know yet. In this time she had five years to figure out a way to stay in this new world.
She had to do something to earn her way to stay in this world, the world that would give her a new start...and hopefully a reason to live.
As Kagome looked at the setting sky, she would be camping out in the woods again it seemed but she really didn't mind. The woods were somewhere she was used too. It was like being back in the Feudal Era.
Having some familiarity was something she looked forward too.
"What am I to do Midoriko." She whispered this quietly in the wind, as she continued to look up at the dimming sky.
"That is a name I haven't heard in many many years."
Kagome snapped her eyes to the voice, eyes clashing with older light blue eyes.
Yuki Note: Hope everyone liked the first chapter! I am watching the movie as I watch this...My Dad and I are watching it together...and we aren't even...thirty minutes in and I wrote this! Yay me!
