I HAVE RETURNED TO THE LAND OF FANFICTION.

I am still working on the next chapters of Truths and Operation Jibbs, but they are going to take a while. I am also working on two new stories for my Lily and Milly series and another oneshot that is set after an episode finishes (clue: hostage).

In the meantime though, I have decided to write this because I am in the middle of watching The Voyeur's Web with a headache that I had yesterday that I thought had GONE. Damn it!!!

She had given Abby an assistant.

NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs was currently ticked off at his former lover whom he still loved but was now the Director of the federal agency at which he worked, Jennifer "Jenny" Shepard. She had given Abigail "Abby" Sciuto, the goth forensic scientist who worked alone an assistant. Gibbs sighed before he looked up and saw Jenny walking into the balcony and he decided to have a talk with her.

"You needed to see me?" Jenny said.

Gibbs walked to the side of Jenny that was the opposite from the stairs.

"Abby Sciuto's new assistant" Gibbs stated.

"Abby's overworked, she needed help down there" Jenny replied.

"You haven't been here long enough to know what she needs yet Jen" Gibbs told her angrily.

"The girl practically mainlines caffeine, Gibbs. The guys in the mailroom call her "Energiser Abby"" she reminded him.

"She works best alone. She's a lot like you" Gibbs said, turning to face his former girlfriend before turning his voice to a whisper. "Very hands on."

Jenny looked at him in shock before she dragged him into her office and shut the door.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked him, her face inches from his.

Gibbs threw his hands up in defence.

"Abby's best at the practical work" he stated.

"Really?" She challenged. "Because it sounded like those three words had a double meaning."

"They didn't" he lied.

"Were you talking about our sexual history?" She snapped.

"No" he lied again.

"You're a bad liar sometimes Jethro" Jenny purred before her lips were on his.

I got the idea for this when I got to the scene where they're talking about Abby working alone and all that and then it got to the bit where Gibbs says to Jenny "she's a lot like you Jen" before he whispers "very hands on". The look on Jenny's face makes me WHEEZE XD. I think we all know what he was talking about ;-).
