I am the smooth criminal.

They can't catch me, they can't tame me.

They cannot take away my individuality.

There are those who hate me.

Those who love me.

Those who could care less.

Do I care?

No.

I am my own worst enemy.

My only hazard is myself, and myself alone.

Not Snape, not anybody.

Just me.

I will survive, I do not need the whole world to love me.

Adore me.

Worship me.

Follow my every move.

I'm that innocent little child from long ago.

At least I wish I was.

Not anymore.

I'm a big boy now.

See?

I don't need help from anyone.

No one.

I only need my friends.

My friends will stay by me.

Won't they?

Labeled as public enemy #2.

Not a person.

Not a soul.

Just a number.

I used to be able to wander freely, not caring, not knowing.
