Author's Note: And now for an idea, that I think is totally great, and a crazy one. There's not much to know in this story except that Rob is a Keyblade Wielder and ends up in Sonic's world. Plus, this takes place during Sonic 2, though Station Square is mentioned. So. I don't own Kingdom Hearts or Sonic the Hedgehog 2. They belong to Square Enix and Sega respectively.

Chapter One

Emerald Hill

The world Rob arrived in was lush and green. "Woah," he said as he looked at his surroundings. Around him were palm trees with coconuts and a beautiful ocean. Before he could continue he saw a...giant bee? It was blue and had black stripes. The bee looked to him and seemingly assessed him. It then pointed its stinger at him and shot a beam of light which he dodged. Looking behind him he saw that the tree it hit exploded.

"Ok," Rob said glaring. "You wanna play that game?" He ran up to the robot and slashed through it causing it to explode. A small rabbit jumped out of it and seemingly smiled at him before hopping off. Rob tilted his head and asked simply, "Who puts animals in freaking robots?"

"WOW!" a voice said causing Rob to turn around. It was a two-tailed fox. "That was amazing!" the fox said to him.

Rob smiled sheepishly and said, "It was nothing really. I just..." he trailed off noticing the fox studying him. "...What are you doing?" he asked a bit uncomfortably.

"I've never seen a human around here," the fox explained. "They usually hang out around Station Square."

"Well...I'm new here," was all Rob said. And that was all the explanation that Tails needed.

The fox started to walk away before saying, "Follow me! I need to introduce you to someone." Rob nodded and began to follow.

Mysterious Location

"So," Robotnik began assessing the situation. "There's this...hero with a Keyblade that can stop me?" The figure before him nodded.

"It appears he has arrived in this world," the figure explained.

"Interesting," Robotnik replied. "And you know how to stop him?"

"Yes," the figure replied. "I know his weaknesses and his strengths. Or possibly, the other way around."

"Tell me..." Robotnik began. "Who are you?"

The figure smirked under his cloak. "Let's just say...I'm a friend. And I'm willing to help."

Tail's Workshop

Rob looked at the workshop in awe. There was a plane and a plethora of tools. There was even a bunch of miniature robots. "You built all of this?" Rob asked in shock. Tails chuckled in response. "Yeah!" he said. "Everything here. And that plane is my greatest creation. Wait till Sonic meets you."

"Sonic?" Rob inquired.

Tails stopped tinkering on a small device and looked at Rob as if that was the dumbest question in the world. "Wow...you really aren't from around here."

"Well. Like I said, I'm new."

"That's...not what I meant," Tails explained. Rob realized that Tails knew what he meant. Even Tails knew that he wasn't from this world. But before conversation could continue a blue blur rushed by and stopped revealing a blue hedgehog.

"Hey Tails," the hedgehog said. "Who's this?" he then asked.

Tails replied simply, "Rob, meet Sonic. Sonic, meet Rob." Before Sonic could say anything else, Tails gasped. "Oh, that's right! I found something of great importance." He pulled out a green emerald.

"Woah!" Sonic shouted in shock. "That makes three. We just have to find the other four before Robotnik does."

"I'm guessing Robotnik is evil," Rob observed.

"He's not from around here is he?" Sonic asked.
