Hello, heres another one of my one-shots, enjoy!

Title: Cloud watching

It was a pleasant spring day in Konoha. The sun was shining; it was about 80 degrees with the low of 78. It was windy but not too windy. Team ten, Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. Were given a free day today because of the weather. Choji, was off eating. Ino was out on a walk and Shikamaru? Well, Ino was off to find him and see what he was doing.

"Shikamaru? Where are you? It's a beautiful day and I can't find you!" the blond haired girl said to herself as her hair blew in the wind. She had checked everywhere, rooftops, the academy, and there favorite restaurant, everywhere! But wait, it came to her, she was feeling do dumb. She forgot to check his favorite spot.

'He must be in the park!'

Soon enough Ino reached the park and found Shikamaru. He was lying in the grass. His arms outstretched, under his head. He was staring up at the sky. Actually, the white fuffy clouds. All he did was lay there looking up at the as they blew over his head.

"Shikamaru there you are! I've been looking everywhere for you and you end up being here, wasting your time, on this beautiful day!"

"You're so noisy."

"You're useless!"

Shaikamaru turned his head from his girlfriend and back up at the clouds. Ino didn't know what to say so she stood there until she thought of something.

"Can I join you?" she asked.

"Whatever."

She got down and laid down next to him. She kissed him on the cheek and looked up at the sky. The grass felt soft beneath her and the wind felt good when it blew over her face. She focused on the clouds, she seemed hypnotized by they, they were so elegant and fragile.

"Ino you don't have to stay here, you can leave."

"Shikamaru you know we have to spend more time together, so I'm staying."

"Fine … do what you want."

Cloud watching, that's what they were doing. Most people think it's pointless, but some say it's relaxing. To Shikamaru, this was something he loved and for Ino, this was new to her.

While Ino was lying in the grass and watching the sky, she realized something. To her cloud watching was no longer pointless and a waist of time to her, she now found it to be relaxing and a fun way to pass time.

They laid there for a while, when suddenly, the clouds were no longer white and fluffy but black and dull. You could hear the thunder coming rolling in and it started to rain.

Shikamaru and Ino quickly got up and started to walk. They weren't running from the rain like everyone else, they just walked through it, at a normal pace as it poured down all around them.

"Ino…thank you…"

"What for?" she asked.

"For watching the clouds with me, no one ever bothers to join me."

"Your welcome. Anyway, it was kind of fun."

She smiled at him, he grabber her hand, and the walked together down the rainy streets of Konoha.

"Oh, and one more thing Shikamaru."

"What is it?"

"Next time, I get to pick what we do."
