He swore he'd never love anyone as much as Kate. And he didn't. But Sarah...there was definitely something there. Sure, Neal still loved Kate but that didn't mean he couldn't fall in love with someone else-wait a minute. Falling in love?
That wasn't allowed to happen, not yet. They still needed to catch Adler before Neal could even consider falling in love with someone else besides Kate.
As he walked down the busy New York City street to get coffee, he couldn't help but wonder why Sarah was even helping them catch Adler. As far as he could tell they didn't have any real ties to one another but then again there wasn't much proof Neal had had ties to the man.
Neal smiled slightly at his recent encounter with Sarah. That awkward goodbye? To be honest it wasn't really that awkward...just borderline, actually. It didn't feel odd at all, instead it felt...right. He hadn't looked forward to seeing her leave now that he knew she was back from Argentina. He grinned as he pulled out the photo of Sarah and that woman she'd met-Rose? Rosa?
Shaking his head in amusement, Neal replaced the photo and closed the file.
So I just watched the latest White Collar episode and ever since that episode where Neal and Sarah posed as that mother and son (originally married couple) I've loved them together. Let's just say last night's episode is really making me love Sarah & Neal. Honestly this isn't my best work but...oh well.
