Beck and Jade were hanging out in her living room watching Phantom of the Opera as they hungrily awaited the completion of the chocolate chip cookies that were as of now baking in the oven. They decided to have a sleepover because it had been a while, I mean yes they saw each other everyday but they hadn't had any quality Bade time in a while.
"I wonder what the other side of his face looks like." Beck said.
"That's an interesting query actually." Jade replied.
"Right? It could be any number of things..burns, lesions, scales.." Beck trailed of.
"Oh my!" Jade added cross referencing Wizard of Oz.
Beck laughed at this as Jade's mom walked in mid-conversation.
"Hey guys..whatcha talkin' bout?" Jade's mom asked a little confused.
"Hi Rachel, me and your daughter were just discussing the different degrees of gross that could possibly occupy the other half of the lead in Phantom of the Opera's face." Beck replied with a smile on his face.
"Must you call my mom Rachel?" Jade asked slightly annoyed.
"We're gal pals, deal with it." Rachel interjected.
Jade looked over at her best friend.
"Yeah..what she said." Beck spoke confidently.
"Mmmmmm dost thy nose deceit thee, or are those cookies I smell?" Rachel asked them, chocolate craving in tow.
"Yes, but their our cookies and you can't have any." Jade warned to no avail. Rachel was already making her way to the kitchen."Hey!".
"Shakespeare nerd." Jade deadpanned in a mumbled tone.
"Why can't she have any?" Beck asked curious about her serious tone.
"Because Beck, she's a cookie monster..we may not even get any."
"Aww, but Beck will starve." Beck replied holding his stomach.
"I told you to stop doing that." Jade replied somewhat forcefully.
"Stop doing what?" Beck asked teasingly.
"You know what, quit being a weirdo."
"Says miss I-Like-To-Collect-Fatty-Corpuscles-In-A-Jar" Beck scoffed.
"That, was one time Beckett." Jade said slowly spacing out her words.
"Yeah, yeah. Now come on love, let's have a go at those cookies shall we?" Beck said in his oh so very spot on british accent.
"You're ridiculous." Jade stated as they got up from the couch.
"Love you too, kid." Beck retorted as he briskly kissed the side of her head.
