Blue Pearl's P.O.V.
The air was thick with dust, and war was ensuing. I ran after a persistent Ruby. Once I get my hands on her, she'll have to answer to my sword. "Come back here you tomato!" I screeched. I've grown fond of tomatoes ever since I came to Earth. I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, and I turned around quickly, slicing the gem in half. The Amethyst yelled at me as she disappeared in a cloud, but I felt no sorrow. One day, this would all be worth it.
"WATCH OUT!" I was thrown to the ground, I was ready to fight this gem, when I realized it was yellow Pearl. She was breathing heavily and above us, a ruby flew and poofed. She was probably thrown by Garnet, or maybe even Amethyst! "Thanks Yellow." She smiled. "No problem, Blu-"
All of a sudden, a chisel went through Yellow. It was Eyeball, as Steven had called her. I caught Yellow's gem, but before I could fight Eyeball, a pink sword went through her. As she poofed, Stevonnie was there smiling. "Maybe you should go and help someone, Blue Pearl." She said, and I ran to Amethyst, blocking a sword from a Tanzanite. "Wow, you fight like a Pearl." She gasped and I quickly poofed her. "Hey Blue, thanks for saving me." I blushed. "No problem, Amy."
"Stop talking to each other! We have a war to win!" Pearl yelled. She seems to hate me, probably because i'm another Pearl. Actually...she's fine with Yellow Pearl. In her scolding of me, someone stabbed her. "Are you kidding me!" Amethyst sighed. She ran over to Pearl's gem. Her sudden movement startled me, and I almost fell. In my shock, I couldn't save Amethyst when a gem poofed her and took her gem. As I looked up, a Citrine fell on me. I was squished down, and before I could somehow get her off me, I released my physical form.
Connie's P.O.V
I ran to the Citrine, and with one slash she was poofed, Rose Quartz's sword had been a great thing for me to get, and whoever had made it did it well. I grabbed Blue Pearl's gem and with Blue Pearl and Yellow Pearl's gems I ran and hid. Luckily, no one saw me. All of a sudden, I heard a booming voice. I was sure it was an Emerald, but I didn't have the guts to look.
"Crystal Gems! Surrender! We've poofed your Ruby, Peridot, Amethyst, pearl and we've shattered two more of your pearls plus your Lapis!" I froze. They shattered Lapis? I know they couldn't have shattered Blue and Yellow but...Lapis?I wonder what kind of mix up it took for that. Also, how do they think Blue and Yellow are shattered?
"What about Connie!?" I heard Steven yell. A sorrow smile crossed my features, and for a moment I had the crazy thought to run over and help him.
"Oh, the human? She went running. I don't blame her, wars are too serious for mere humans." That is the most wrong statement i've heard yet.
"Oh Steven, what do we do?" Sapphire asked quietly.
"Oh, now stop your talking. Your punishment awaits."
"No! Don't shatter them!" Steven yelled, frantic now.
"Oh Rose, you know nothing of Homeworld. We won't shatter you, that'd be too easy! No, you will be trapped on Homeworld forever. ON THE SHIPS! NOW!" Steven and Sapphire cried out, and I heard Steven protest as he was pulled to the ships.
I heard people running and ships leaving. Once I was certain no one was still there, I ran, crying. I knew then, Steven was gone...and the only gems on Earth were Yellow and Blue Pearl. But mark my words...I will bring the rest of the gems back to earth if it's the last thing I do. Homeworld may have many technical advancements, but they aren't prepared for another war.
I will get Steven back if it's the last thing I do.
