Across the stars, across the unending galaxy, he travels haunted by a long lost prophecy. And yet, he cannot, he will not, forget her. A poem about Anakin and Padmé. I published this years ago in another site, just in case you've read it somewhere else.

Across the stars…

Across the stars, across the unending galaxy,
he travels haunted by a long lost prophecy.
And yet, he cannot, he will not, forget her,
he dreams of the moments when she was still there.

Across the stars, across the unending galaxy,
he continues mourning because of destiny.
Because now he has seen her, making his heart bleed,
he's tied to a promise, his heart he can't concede.

Across the stars, across the unending galaxy,
he now is haunted by a dream that cannot be,
and he knows it, he cannot dare to cross the line,
a duty he's got, to her love he must resign.

Across the stars, across the unending galaxy,
He still travels, he's the one who'll bring harmony.
But now he can't be in peace, he's learned what love is,
And he's now haunted by the memory of a kiss.
