Luffy tried to cheer me up by telling me that my bounty was awesome, as first bounties go.

And the shitty-marimo, the one who was supposed to cheer me up even more, didn't exactly help by saying that they ugly face on the poster bore a good resemblance to me. HE SAID IT LOOKED LIKE ME!

Shitty-marimo-muscle-headed-asshole-shithead-bastard… Let me tell you what YOUR HAIR looks like! It's like a DAMN-FUCKING FUNGUS, marimo!

I was rather annoyed because of what he said, and so I grabbed his black Galley-La shirt by the collar, ready to shout in his face, but all that came out were grumpy, muttered words.

Then he had the gall to prod me further, saying that I needed to speak actual words because he couldn't understand what I was trying to say. Bastard.

My legs suddenly lost their power, and I fell face first onto the Galley-La's building floor. I just wanted to cry over that stupid wanted poster.

That poster will definitely make me the laughing stock of every precious, beautiful lady in the world.

That poster will make me the laughing stock of every cook on the Baratie, and that old shitty-geezer.

But mostly, I wanted to cry at how much I lost to the marimo because of the price on my wanted poster.

Slightly slumped on the floor still, I turn my head over, and shift my attention to my captain and his first mate.

His first mate who is also accidentally my lover when we're alone.

I watch them interact. The future pirate king and someone who has sworn loyalty to him, and will remain at his side.

I want to be with them. I want to be with him.

He's sworn to remain by that boy's side, and with my bounty being lower than both of theirs, where exactly is my place?

We have already come this far, and I've seen how much Luffy has changed more and more into who he is destined to be.

And then there was Zoro, and even I could see that he would sacrifice his life, like he stupidly does almost every day, to make sure that this dream that we all have with our captain will come true.

So, between these two, where is my place?

I keep trying to enhance my abilities, train harder, find out how to move like "Diable Jamble", but you both always leave me out in here.

I sigh again at my wanted poster, and vaguely hear the marimo call me a whiner.

Yeah, maybe I am the whiner. That's why I'll never catch up to you and Luffy.


…Zoro, is there something that I can do to insure my place beside you?...
