For Just a Second
I close my eyes and listen to the serenity all around me. For the first time in hours I am able to bask in the idle silence that supports me. I wish that it will last for longer than a second.
For many moments later I am thinking about the First, the potentials and Caleb. And the fact that Faith came back into my life…we'd barely even spoken…it seemed that there was more distance between us than the real world and the underworld.
But she just entered the room.
And for just a second I begin to fall in love.
