Star crossed lovers
The night was warm and breezy, a deep summers night just perfect to get lost in your mind while looking to the sky. What makes it even better, is if your one and only lover is lying right next to you, this is just what was going through Dave's mind as he gazed up into the starry night, little lights twinkling in the darkness. The grass was soft and warm under dave, the earth surprisingly soft for well, the ground. Silence surrounded them as they lay in the field, no trees or lights to obstruct their view, though a few clouds did start to blow in.
As the beat of each other's hearts and the sound of their breathing started to become white noise to them, Dave reached his hand over, placing it on John's. John didn't hesitate to take the hand in his own, holding it gently. When Dave's eyes met a constellation he knew, he pointed up to it. "That's Orion, right? The belt and shit?"
John stifled a laugh and nodded. "Yes indeed it is." John's own hand pointed up. "Rose told me that one is named Lepus the hare." Dave's shades lay on the grass next to his head so his shining red eyes glinted in the moon's pale light when he looked over to John. "pft, nerd." He leaned in to steal a little kiss from John, causing the latter to blush even if it wasn't very much visible in the dark night.
"Dork." John responded, scooting closer to the blonde, his warmth comforting to Dave even in the warm night. When John leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Dave's lips, two stars streaked across the sky, crossing paths then fading into the night, unnoticed by the two lovers. The minutes rolled by, dark clouds started to roll in and the twinkling stars faded away unnoticed by the two who were pre-occupied with little loving kisses and sweet nothings whispered to each other, laughs as gentle as the breeze floating into the air around them, heard by no one else but them.
When the warm drops of water started to fall on them, it was ignored, their kisses started to get more deep, more heated. The summer rain started to pour down and John had shifted on top of Dave, their lips locked in a passionate kiss. When they pulled back for breath, their faces were hot and dripping with water. "I love you Dave." Their lips brushed together once more and John smiled. "i'll love you too John, until the day i die." Once the words drowned into the night and rain, their lips were locked again, the true kiss of star crossed lovers.
