A/N: Characters may seem a bit OOC since this is a side that you don't generally see of them. Also, I apologize that the prologue is so short. It will add more in the future chapters. This is set after Captain America: The Winter Solider so know that there will be some form spoilers.
Prologue:
'HOWARD STARK DIES IN CAR CRASH'
That's what the headlines said.
That's what the autopsy said.
Something didn't seem right about that though. Ton stared at the headline everyday, still not believing it. His father was a decent driver. Hell, was his father even driving?
"Jarvis, inspect for something out of the oridinary." Tony said.
"Sir, the search won't be any different." The Robotic voice responded.
Rarely did Tony get frustrated but this time, he did. "Just..." He took a deep breath, "Just do it, Jarvis." He said in a calm but annoyed tone.
"Yes sir." Jarvis replied and began to search every inch of the paper clipping.
Tony stared at the headline picture. Fainlty in the background he could hear Jarvis say nothing was found, but he wasn't paying attention to that. Not mostly, anyway.
He stared even more at the picture. Every detail. Every person. No curious HYDRA symbols. Perhaps someone in the crowd was the one who caused the car crash.
Tony narrowed his eyes, "Jarvis, zoom in on the crowed and unpixalate it."
The picture zoomed a bit then slowly the pixalation cleared and faces became easier to see. None looked familiar. Most look concerned...except one. One that wouldn't be able to be noticed unless zoomed as it was.
"Jarvis zoom in on the right middle." Tony told him. Again the picture zoomed in and cleared up. The face was hidden behind a mask but the eyes were showing. It seemed pretty evident if anyone did it, it'd be that guy. The face that had been all over the news. The face of The Winter Solider.
