All it takes is one betrayal for your life to be turned upside down. Janie had been living with her aunt Jill after the police found her starving in a barn with a few horses, one she was eight it was believed her mom dumped her on the street then disappeared. Though since than her life had been perfect or everyone thought, she was one of the most popular kids in her school all the other girls were jealous of her beauty with her long wavy black hair and thin short body and 5,2, though see all ways felt a sense off emptiness but hid it very well, the only time it disappeared was one she was on top of a horse. In her freshman year she even started cutting her self to escape the pain.
All the times her aunt promised she'd always be there for her must have been a lie cause here she was on a plane headed to navada to live with her grandma that she'd never meant. The girl sitting next to her had strawberry blond wavy hair. So far she'd only exchanged two sentences since she got on at Chicago, and here she was already getting off. As she climbed down she scoped the crowd for her grandma it wasn't that hard even though she'd never meant her but her grandma was he only African American there. Janie hesitantly walked towards her as she reached her she cleared her voice and said in an uneasy voice
"Grandma?"
"Oh Janie is that you? My don't you look like you mom"
"I don't remember what she looks like" Janie said
"Oh will I'll have to show you some picture a home"
Janie followed her grandma to the car with her bag slung around her shoulder. As the started their trip towards the farm that shed been told her grandma lived on all Janie could she was farmland though to Janie it was beautiful she had never been fond of the city with all the traffic and crowds she just never felt like she fit in so Janie had no complaints to moving too a small town.
"so Janie how has life been treating you" her grandma sam asked as the pulled onto a dirt road
"fine" Janie mumbled. Janie new she wasn't acting friendly but she didn't want someone else coming into her heart when ever she let someone in they also left her alone.
