A/N: Wow. It's been awhile since I've written a story about these two.

Willow sat on the bed, legs tucked up to her chin. "So…um…Tara. What was it you wanted to talk to me about? Because I'm all ears." She smiled. "Well, not really, but…you know."

"I-I want to know why you haven't…introduced me to your friends yet. I mean…you guys go out on missions and everything and I-I just, you know, wondered."

"Oh. Well, you know. We go out on patrols and it's kind of dangerous—"

"Bu-but I-I could help. With my magic."

Willow pursed her lips. "Okay, honesty time."

"What?"

She scooted from the bed to the floor, taking Tara's hand in hers. "You want to know the real reason I haven't introduced you to the Scoobies yet?"

"Y-yes."

"It's because I'm being selfish."

Tara stared at her. "Wh-what?"

"I'm being selfish." Willow smiled, rubbing a thumb over the top of Tara's hand. "Tara, this relationship is so new. And right now, I'm-I'm getting to know everything about you." She snuggled into the blonde witch. "It's not that I don't want you to meet the Scoobies, because I do. It's just…right now, I want to spend all my time with you. Basically, I want you all to myself." She paused. "You know, in a good way."

"Oh." Tara blinked. "Bu-we ca-I mean…"

Willow wrapped her in a hug. "Oh, I don't mean forever. Just…for right now. While I'm still learning things about you."

"A-after that?"

She kissed her on the lips. "After that, I promise I'll introduce you. Okay?"

"O-okay."

"Besides…" She climbed over Tara, lightly straddling her hips. "Besides, I kind of like it this way."

"Wh-why/"

"Because I get to do this!" She thrust her arms forward, tickling Tara in the ribs, causing the blonde witch to wriggle and squirm, laughing at the attack. Willow smiled as she pulled away, waiting for the laughter to subside. "See? It's more fun this way."

Tara grinned, the giggles subsiding. "W-Willow?"

"Yeah?"

"I like being selfish with you too."

"Good." Her smiled widened. "We'll be selfish together then, just the two of us. For now. Okay?"

"Okay.'
