Summary: He made a deal with a devil and strangely he never regrets it

He supposes that in a certain sense he made a deal with a devil

After all witches were considered the devil's offspring and should be burned to death if one is a witch or is accused of witchcraft.

He silently knows that C.C. has been burned as a witch many times in the past and yet he could never condemn her to a witch's death.

Yet like the fool he was he had accepted the power she was offering. Yet even as he lays here dying her listening to her sister's soft sobs.

He has never regretted the deal that he made with her, because of her. He was able to accomplish his goals. Sure he never imagined that he would have died the moment he accomplish his goals. It wasn't until he made the plan for the Zero Requiem that he realized that he was going to die.

He can still remember C.C. asking him if he regrets it.

Such a foolish question for her to ask, because he honestly considers himself blessed of having her in his life. For having her as his partner, as his wife.

He only wishes that he could have had told her how important she was to him. Even though she might be shunned for being a witch, an offspring of the devil.

He could never regret the deal that he made with her on that day three years ago.
