Chapter I:
The resurrection and insurrection
I have to escape! I am scorpion, not a slave. Any longer in here and I'll loose my powers, and become weak!
"Scorpion!" A familiar voice called to the weakened soul. Scorpion put his mask back on.
"Shao Kahn? Get me out of here! I am a general, not a slave!" Scorpion called.
"A slave you have become. Johnny Cage defeated you in your lair."
"No…he couldn't of…he was weak, I am strong."
"Scorpion, I offer you a second chance. Join me again and we can defeat earth realm and claim it for outworld!" Scorpion nodded.
"Sounds like a plan. Get me out of here!" With that, Shao Kahn had gathered the last remaining ninja of outworld. He had gathered Rain, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Raiko, Reptile, and now Scorpion.
"Bow to me… you weak pathetic fools! I've come for your souls!" Shao Kahn said to the people of the Temple of Light. Portals Rayden stood up, strong and tall.
"I don't think so!" Rayden's eyes lit up with electricity as he and his chosen ones, with Princess Kitana at their side, took up defensive stances. The Emperor's warriors took hold of the old temple.
"Its too late for your chosen ones, Lord Rayden, my portals have opened, and the merger has begun. Earth was created in 6 days, but I will destroy it in 2!" Shao Kahn laughed at Rayden, and his chosen warriars.
"We must fight!" Lui announced to Rayden. Rayden put his hand on Lui's shoulder.
"Another place, another time, Lui Kang, now we must prepare." Rayden told Lui. Shao Kahn pulled out his sword.
"Oh, Rayden?" Kahn asked. Rayden turned around.
"What?" Rayden replied.
"Another place, another time, huh? Well, I'm pretty sure they have some 'different' plans." Shao Kahn said, as he pointed to an army of ninjas behind them.
"Everyone, grab onto to me, now!" Everyone clutched a piece of Rayden's white robe. Suddenly, they disappeared and all that was left was a giant crater and some lightning.
"No! Extermination Squads! Find them!" Shao Kahn ordered.
