Chapter 1.
Elena's P.O.V.
I feel so stupid. And lonely. Yeah especially lonely, she thought to herself. She caused not one, but both of them to leave her. She made her choice, and of course it was Stefan. How could she not chose him? She loved him. The man of her dreams, her heart and soul. She would do anything for him to be here right now. Come to think of it, she would do anything for him period. About Damon, she loved him no doubt, but you can't just fall out of love with someone so easily. Let alone ever. At least I can't. Elena Gilbert. Wow, what the hell happened to me? The girl who everyone worshipped and wanted to be, she was easily the talk of everyone's life. And still, even though she was in college and almost everyone there knew her from high school. No one sees her as the popular and hot girl every girl wants to be and every boy wants to have. She's invisible, because she wants to be that way. She just wants everyone to leave her alone, the only one she wants to be with her is Stefan and Damon. Stefan as her lover and Damon as her friend.
Her best friend. How did this come to be? How did Elena Gilbert become invisible? Wearing nothing but converse, baggy pants, and baggy sweatshirts became her new wardrobe. Ever since she found out the impossible. And it all started with 2 brothers. The one's that changed her life forever. The Salvatores. The boys who broke her heart and left because with Klaus out of the way, they wanted Elena to live a normal life. Without them. "It's for the best", Stefan said the night he left. No it wasnt for the best. And no, Elena could never life a normal life. But now, she's stuck. Carrying a baby now.
And she was now 3 months along. And she was scared. More scared then she has ever been in her entire life. She needed him. So she texted him starting with the usual hello. No reply. So called him and got no answer so she left a voice mail saying that she needed to tell him something and that it was important. Then she emailed him. Telling him everything. If he wasn't coming back he at least deserved to know that she was carrying his baby.
