Battles in history
Paul Gold was on one side of the battlefield. Finn Corbett was on the other. They were both ready to begin the most important battle of their lifetime. A battle for a place in the championships, but more importantly, a war between old rivals. "This will be a 3-on-3 battle. No switching allowed. The winner will receive a spot in the Pokemon world championships. Ready... Go!" Paul sent out Infernape, while Finn chose Metagross. "Infernape, use Fire Blast!", Paul shouted. It hit Metagross very hard, and when the smoke cleared, there he was, on the ground, fainted. "Metagross is unable to battle. Infernape wins!" The announcer yelled. Finn said calmly, " Metagross, take a good rest." Then louder he called his next pokemon, Flygon. "Flygon, use Outrage!", Finn said, at the exact same time that Paul was calling Close Combat for Infernape. The attacks collided, and one Pokemon was on the ground. Who was it?
