A Wish Come True - Chapter 1

Opening my eyes, my eyesight seemed extremely blurry. I couldn't make out anything. After rubbing my eyes, the blurriness subsided. It was a grassy field near a forest.

"Where am I?" I said, puzzled by this strange place.

I then found out that I was in a dream. I started to walk around, but something felt off, and not right. I looked down, and saw that my skin was yellow, and furry. I then saw that my hands and feet were quite strange. After much thinking, I realized that I was a Pikachu! I rolled around the field happily and tried to test out electric attacks, but the result was a tiny, harmless spark.

"Well, of course it wasn't going to work very well because I haven't done it before."

Suddenly, the dream came to a stop, and I was woken up by my alarm clock, the small, loud, ticking machine that is set to wake me up everyday. Groaning, I stopped the alarm. Looking at my calendar, I saw that it was Saturday.

"That was certainly a weird dream, but it would be fun if I actually were a Pikachu." I thought.

I lazily got up from my bed, made my bed, and proceeded to brush my teeth. After everything was done, I walked down the wooden stairs and went to eat breakfast, which was cereal. After eating, I realized I had nothing to do for the day, so I just spent the day by watching television and playing video games.

Much later…

I was exhausted from doing nothing all day, so I prepared to sleep. However, as I began preparing, a ring came from the door downstairs. I wondered who it could be at the door this late. When I opened the door, I saw a package on the ground. It did not say who sent it and who it was for on it.

"Strange, I never ordered any package," I muttered, "It could be that they sent it to the wrong address."

I quickly ran outside to tell the deliveryman, but he already left. It was probably not a very good choice to open the package, since it wasn't mine, but I couldn't resist the temptation to do it. I simply couldn't. But, curiosity took over me, and I opened the package, waiting to see what was inside.

It was a mirror.

"Oh, it's just a mirror. I don't have much use for it, so I'll just put it back in the package." I sighed in disappointment.

However, why would anyone send a mirror to me at this time? There must be something important about it. I checked the mirror, front and back, and saw a Pikachu in the reflection. Terrified, I fell to the floor suddenly extremely exhausted, eyes closing, and fell unconscious.
