At the Hokage's office…
"What!?" The young blonde exclaimed, "I just got back from my last mission, and your sending me on a another one already?!" He may not have noticed this but he was looking at the Hokage like she had the plague.
"Yes" said the Godaime simply, "Their Sensei is incapacitated and cannot go with them on their mission." At that time our young hero glared at the blonde leader of konoha, "Obaa-chan, wouldn't it be easier to send a different team to do this mission?" At this she looked away from her paperwork, smiled and said, "Yes, I just like torturing you, and there will be another chunin there so stop complaining, Naruto"

"Hinata, The hokage requests you appearance in her office, now" Hinata looked up to see her cousin looking at her with that never ending glare he wears, thinking 'I wonder what Tsunade-sama wants…' then she got up to head towards the office of the Godaime, Tsunade.
Along the way she noticed three genin talking about how they could not find their Jounin and a mission was starting soon, and couldn't help but think this would in some way have something to do with whatever the Hokage wanted
"Tsunade-sama?" Hinata said as she entered the Godaime's office. She saw Tsunade, the Hokage, Shizune the Hokage's assistant, and also in the room was a certain blonde chunin back from an extended mission. 'Oh no…'
"Oi, Hinata-chan!" said Naruto as Hinata entered the room "Is she who I'm teamed up with on the mission Obaa-Chan?" Tsunade obviously annoyed that he refused to call her Hokage-sama, or at least Tsunade-sama, threw Naruto a dirty look then said,
"Yes Naruto, Hinata is your partner on this mission, so fill her in on the details, luckily you refused to leave so I don't have to." Now feeling a lot better seeing as she had some time on her hands 'Ha-ha, now I have some free time to treat my self to some of the perks of being Hokage!' she thought while beginning to drool 'Oh the sweet cakes, the casinos, The hot springs, Hmm I cant wait."
"Oi, Obaa-chan, you there?" said Naruto as he waved a hand in front of the Godaime's face who apparently was thinking of something good because she was drooling in a very un-Hokage like fashion. "Well Hinata lets go meet the kids"
"Kids? N-Naruto-kun?" said Hinata slightly confused, Naruto noticing that she didn't hear the mission yet decided not was as good of a time as any to tell her
"Oh yeah, guess you don't know yet, we're filling in for a teams Jounin, Were going to snow country too…It's so cold there"
'Ha- I was right' thought Hinata smiling with a slight blush. 'of course its cold it's the snow country- You know what, Ill let him be unintelligent, its cute." her small blush had gotten a few shades darker while she was in thought, and Naruto wanted to ask why but they had to meet their new genin, so he let it be.
"So Hinata, are you dating the Kiba guy yet?" asked Naruto as they were walking towards the academy." Actually, N-Naruto-kun I don't plan on ever dating him" slightly appalled that he would ask her that.
"Hey Hinata there's the kids, ill meet you there I have to assert myself with a big entrance." At first Hinata looked at him utterly confused, then remembered this was Naruto and continued walking while Naruto did something with hand seals.
