One Summer Day- The Life Left Behind

If you asked anyone who ever saw her to describe Reigna Marks you'ld get varying answers, most in a single word. Some might blatently, and rashly, suggest freakish. Other more tactful people might turn to the word unique. Those who were more pious would even dare to say insane, or perhaps possessed. Though one can't really understand from a single word can they?

These descriptors might sound weird to someone who had never met the girl, as well... They've simply put never met her, but everyone who knew her would agree with any and all of them. She herself would admit to being weird, even what could be considered a freak. But she kept to herself, as much as she could, so no one really complained too much. Though the residents of her home town held a mix of delight, relief, and extreme worry when she'd revealed one summer day that she was moving to London.

Delighted because she was leaving them to their rather nice NORMAL lives. Relieved because they had all, though some were more vocal about this than others, been afraid she'd never leave. They were extremely worried because they thought she might end up plotting mass murders, and really how would that reflect on their poor town! Hadn't they already had enough of the girl? It was one thing when she burned down the chem lab at the school, but mass murder would tarnish their town for heaven's sake!

Ms. Marks however saw her move as a way to escape THEM. The complete and utter idiots who couldn't put together the simplest of occurrences, yet insisted SHE was the crazy one. It appalled her that some of them were considered upstanding community members. Especially Mr. Jones, who would have traces of lipstick on their collar while their wife was on business in Geneva for two months without it having been cheating? Really.

So it was with rather large gatherings around the windows of the homes on the road out of town that one bright summer's day Ms. Reigna Delilah Marks left the town for good. Convinced, and quite correct in her conviction too, that she would never go back. The last glimpse she caught in the mirror out the back window of her rented car showed a quite and as she saw it, borish town. She smiled as it became nothing but a speck behind her. The countryside taking it's place as she rolled towards her new city. She prayed for something to hold her attention anything. Little did she know that her life would soon be much, much more exciting than she could have ever imagined. That she would in fact live a interesting existence. Of this she did not know, but had she known she would have been overjoyed.

a/n: so this is the first chapter of my new story (with a New and Improved writing style!... I hope at least) This will include Johnlock and also some of my horrible OCs. I'm sorry if my writing takes forever but I have lots going on (I'm moving soon) and it gets hard to write. Please review, hey if you like it follow it!
