I own nothing

Yesterday, Terra watched his best friend, Ventus, have fun with his friend Vanitas. They were having fun playing in the rain before Eraqus called him inside for dinner. Today, Terra found Ventus on the couch, coughing and sweating.

"Ventus," said Terra, rushing towards him, "are you alright?"

"I'm not feeling very good," Ventus told him weakly.

"Wait here," said Terra, "I'll be right back."

Terra went upstairs and grabbed the thermometer that they kept in the bathroom. He went back and turned it on, putting it in Ventus's mouth.

"Keep it under your tongue," Terra instructed.

Ventus nodded and pulled his blanket up a little. Terra noticed that Ventus was wearing a, probably unneeded, beige scarf and his favorite teal Mickey shirt. Then, the thermometer started beeping. Terra placed his hand on Ventus's forehead as he took the device out.

"101.4," said Terra, sighing a little, "yep, definitely a fever."

"But Terra," whined Ventus, "I was going to hang out with Vanitas today."

"Well, you're sick," said Terra, gently pushing Ventus down on the couch, "what you need to do, right now, is rest."

"Ok," said Ventus, sleepily.

Throughout the day, Terra checked on Ventus and gave him his medicine, took his temperature, and kept him company. It was around Ventus's bedtime when Terra went to check on him one last time.

"Hey," said Terra, gently, "how are you feeling?"

Ventus looked at him and smiled.

"I feel a lot better," said Ventus.

Terra smiled then felt his friend's forehead.

"Your fever seems to have gone down," said Terra, "you should be better in the morning."

"Great," said Ventus, happily.

"Well you should get some sleep," said Terra, smiling, "I'll see you in the morning."

Terra turned to leave and was about to turn off the lights when Ventus spoke up.

"Terra."

"Yeah."

"Thank you for taking care of me today," was Ventus's response.

"Your welcome," said Terra, smiling.
