''The way her hair sparkled in the light as we danced outside in the stars. It was beautiful...'' Gray started, hoping not to cry during his speech. He had held back so many emotions and now today was the day. His wife's funeral. ''S-She was a very strong woman'' He continued on. He shook vigorously, and he even held onto his own suit. It was raining that day ''E-Erza...loved to fight and was a sweet woman..She'd always play in the rain with our….late child.'' He gulped ''I-I'll love her till the day i die...'' He looked down and tears dripped to the hard wooden floor. After everyone finished their speeches. He went up to her coffin one last time and played with her scarlet hair. "I-I'm sorry I couldn't protect you from that crash...with Melanie as well... I-I'll be with you two soon'' He kissed her forehead and sniffled. She was in a gorgeous dark amber dress with her hair tied up. She had a small bouquet of Spider Lilies. Gray held back tears and weakly placed one of them in her hair. He gulped and finally rushed out of the funeral home. He drove to the nearest liquor store and bought as much as h could. He then started drinking them and driving back home. He was listening to a specific song. It was the song they fell in love to. He shook and was swerving around the street. He gulped and stopped on the train tracks. ''This is where it happened...'' He cried softly then saw to lights coming towards him. They were almost there when he gasped and woke up. He was in a hospital bed, being pushed through the doors. He gulped and saw Erza and his daughter Melanie running with them. He smiled weakly and whispered. ''I-I'll l-love you both...even….after I-I...die'' And with that his heart beat was gone and he didn't have a pulse.

"The way he smiled at me when we would dance in the moonlight...he was so handsome...'' Erza read from her speech. Today was her husband's funeral and she was in a dark auburn dress, with her hair tied up and a spider lily in her hair. She shook and gulped. ''I-I'll love him until the day i-i die...I wish i could have done more to save him, but i-i couldn't...'' She wept softly and sat down. After everyone was gone she went back up to the coffin her love was in and put the spider lily in his hair. He had the smile on his face and was in a dark brown tuxedo. She and Melanie went home that night. She was fast asleep in her queen sized bed, holding Melanie in her arms when she was awoken by something. She quickly looked over and looked in utter shock at what she saw. It was Gray. He was transparent though ''You did what you could...'' He said in a small whisper. He then kissed Melanie's forehead making her smile. He looked back up at Erza and gently kissed her lips one last time before fading completely. She couldn't sleep that night anymore.
