Stupid Daydream

A pair of amethyst orbs stared out of the crystalline window pane. The cool drops of rain pelted the prickly grass on the other side of the window. Zakuro sighed. It was nice to take a break. Since it was raining, there weren't many customers in the Café at the moment, so Ryou let her take a break.

The wine haired mew rested her pale, delicate hand on the bitter glass for a moment, feeling the cool smoothness on her skin. It felt good.

Many people wondered what the lavender wolf thought about. Some thought that she thinks only of saving the world. Zakuro thought of that, of course. But lately, she had been thinking of something else. Someone else in particular. A certain lilac haired alien.

Zakuro didn't like thinking of the aliens. She found them rude, repulsive, nasty and ugly. Why shouldn't she? They stained the world with their evil, like onyx ink staining a clean piece of blanch paper. But, Pai was different somehow. He was cruel, yes, but he was also intelligent, strong, and handsome. The model blinked, cursing herself for becoming so suddenly weak, thinking about Pai in such an amorous way.

His gentle hand ran through her glossy, violet hair. His warm breath met with her porcelain like cheek.

Zakuro's eyes widened. How could she be thinking of such things?! It was prepostorous! Disgusting!

Zakuro took her hand away from the window and placed it atop of her heart. It was beating. Hard. Like a drum. Ba dump Ba dump Ba dump Ba dump Ba dump. It was so loud, she could've swore that Ryou could've heard it from across the room. Oh well. It was probably her blood pressure. Or something like that.

"I need you...Zakuro..." the strong alien hushed. He was warm. Pai had his arms around Zakuro, making it obvious that he wouldn't let go. He gently pulled away from the sweet hug.

The Grey Wolf mew was staring deep into the smoky clouds in the sky, letting her mind wander freely. These just happened to be the thoughts that popped into her brain.

"Don't let go..." Zakuro pleaded softly to the perfect muse she held in her arms. "I won't. I love you..." he whispered to her. And then he closed the remaining space between them. Zakuro was completely lost in the kiss.

Zakuro became breathless, a cherry colour forming on her face. "Pai... tastes like hot cocoa..." she thought to herself. He did. To her, he tasted of sugary warm chocolate, slipping in her mouth, only to be topped with the simple sweetness of snow white marshmallows. She liked it.

"I love you too, Pai..." she whispered ever so silently.

"Hey, Zakuro! Time for you to get back to work!" Ryou yelled from across the room, crashing reality on Zakuro's dreams.

"O..oh.. Thank god it was only a stupid daydream..." she thought bitterly.

"Hey, Ichigo! After work, how about we go get some hot chocolate?" the purple mew suggested happily.
