I just moved to a brand new town. Today is my first day at a new high school.

I have only made one friend his name is Seth Clearwater. The very first time we met

he told me that there are only 3 things to watch out for in this town. secrets lies and

vampire eyes. Then he told me his name. Omigosh i just realized that i haven't told

you how this happened.

Well, my name is Cassidy, I'm 15 and I'm from New York.

I was sent to a little Indian reservation by my parents.

So now I'm a new york girl living in forks, Washington.

The worst part is my parents won't even tell me why I'm

here. All my parents told me was that it was my duty to

go to the very small town of Forks, Washington.

This is how my first day in forks happened:

"Hey, new girl you got a name?", this really hot guy asked me

"yeah i do, how bout you?" i retorted

"well duh, I'm Seth, Seth Clearwater, and you are?"

"Hi, I'm Cassidy McHenry"

"Oh your Cassidy", Seth said. (rather rudley)

"Am i supposed to know you", i said

"well uh no i guess not, but your staying with Jacob and his dad right?", he asked sweetly

"Yeah i am, you know them?"

"yeah Jake's my best friend.", he said so cockily

"oh well, i got to get back, but uh see ya around k? bye", i said

After that Seth and I hung out a lot. We were practically inseparable.

One day, when i was with Seth he got really serious.

"cassidy?" he asked

"yeah Seth?" i replied with mock fear

"in this town there are 3 things you need to watch out for."he said

"and what might that be" i joked

he replied,"secrets,lies and, vampire eyes."

when he said this i burst out laughing,"yeah right, everyone knows that vampires aren't real."
