Prologue
The doctor put his hand on her arm and said gently, "You or the baby will survive. Not both. I'm sorry." The woman bursts into tears after hearing her fate. Just at that moment the surgical room door swings open and in comes one of the nurses who hands the doctor a clipboard. The doctor flips through the pages and looks up at the nurse then nods. She leaves the room. The doctor looks at the woman who is now crying into her hands. "I'm so sorry Mrs Blackwood" She then realises that only her blessed child will survive.
