Coming Home

Pairing: Rusty/Harry

Warning(s): Male/Male relationship

"Try to settle down, have a couple of kids," Danny smirked, turning around and walking out of the terminal.

A playful smile settled over Rusty's face as he looked down. If only Danny knew.

The door opened quietly and Rusty sighed in relief, hoping to still gain the element of surprise. He stepped into the small apartment, feeling at home at once. The kitchen, dining room area was empty, illuminated by a lamp hung over the bar counter. He draped his jacket carefully over the rickety table, wincing when it gave a groan of protest.

With quick and quiet steps, he bypassed the tiny but cozy living room and entered the only other room in the apartment. His heart swelled in his throat and he leaned against the doorframe to simply look after so long.

His little lover was curled up on the mattress lying on the floor, blanket pooled around a petit waist, revealing the unblemished tanned skin of the naked back. Ebony hair contrasted deeply with the stark whiteness of the pillow the head was laying on. Full, pouty pink lips were parted and small puffs of air escaped with every breath taken. What really made Rusty's heart swell was that the pillow Rusty slept on was being clutched tightly to his lover's chest.

Smiling gently, Rusty dropped to the floor and crawled onto the bed, softly tracing the pink lips. "Harry," he murmured, giving a gentle shake, "Wake up."

Giving a small moan, Harry's eyes fluttered open to reveal the startling emerald eyes Rusty loved. "R-Rusty?" he yawned, trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes. "W-What time is it?"

"Two thirty something. Just got home," he laid down onto his side of the bed, placing his hand over Harry's on the pillow. "Miss me babe?"

The blush he was rewarded with made Rusty never want to leave again. "Shut up. You know I have to have something to hold when I sleep."

"If you say so little love," he grinned, ducking as Harry swiped sleepily at him.

Grumbling, Harry pouted up at him. "So other than wanting to annoy me, is there any reason you didn't go check on your hotels first like you should be doing?"

Rusty brought a hand to cup the other's cheek, letting his thumb run across the soft skin of his cheek. With a noise of contentment, Harry leaned into his touch making Rusty drop a kiss onto the ebony hair. "I missed you," he murmured. "You have no idea."

He received a dazzling smile in return. "Missed you too Rusty."

As Harry settled back down to sleep, cuddling against the sandy haired man with sleepy endearments and an arm wrapped tightly around his waist, Rusty couldn't remember ever being happier.
