As Sting and Rogue were walking back their homes, Sting wouldn't stop blabbering on. Like usual, his best friend Rogue would nod and make comments like 'oh yeah' or 'true' to keep Sting happy. But he didn't mind that, as long as he could continue talking and at least pretend like someone cared.

Suddenly, something grabbed Rogue's attention.

"Sting, check it out!" he squealed, pointing to a tree in the park they were passing by.

"A tree?" he asked.

Rogue shook his head, "No, look behind the tree." he then took off with Sting shouting behind him. Sting had never seen him act this way, Rogue was always dull and unenthusiastic, despite being a seven year old boy.

Finally Sting caught up to Rogue, whom he found petting a greenish-tainted cat.

Being only seven as well, Sting wasn't fazed by the fact that Rogue was petting a random cat he found in the park.

"Isn't it the coolest? If I owned this cat, I would definitely take the best care of it." Rogue commented. I still can't believe he's so excited.

"Wow Rogue, I've never seen you so happy before. You're even smiling!" Sting cheered.

"I know! I don't know why, but this cat just sort of called to me ya know?" Rogue looked up at him. Sting nodded his head.

"Do you think it has an owner?"

Rogue's face seemed to grow a little sad. "Yeah probably."

Sting felt bad for bringing his best friend down, "Well, I'm sure you can keep, um whatever its name is, until 'lost cat' posters start to appear."

"Yeah," Rogue's face lit back up, "For now, we'll call this cat Frosch."

Except 'for now' turned into 'forever' because the owner of the cat never bothered to look for it, and so Frosch remained with Rogue, becoming his second best friend.
