You feel strange. That's the only way to describe how you feel. You just met the Sky leader. She makes you feel different and you don't know why. This girl fell from the sky and her head is still in the clouds. We are at war and she has a lot of faith in this boy, Bellamy.

The Sky people are too innocent. They believe they can save everyone even the Mountain Men. They believe they are above us. They think we are animals who are cruel. But the truth is the world is cruel. We have to be like this. We have to be tough and cruel to survive in this world.

They don't understand. They haven't learned like we have. She has only been here a short time and she has already seen how cruel the world is. They have yet to learn. She is beautiful. Her golden hair. Her eyes as blue as the sky. She is absolutely beautiful. There is no other way to describe her.

Even though she has seen how cruel the world is, she still wants to save the Mountain Men. She wants you to help her save them. She wants you to help her save the monsters that have been terrorizing her people for generations. You want to help her. To save her from this world. To protect her. But your people come first. Head over heart.

You watch as she tells your generals that she wants to save the innocent. They, of course look at her crazy. They look to you for confirmation and you nod. We should save the innocent but in reality every Mountain Men they see will be killed. You know this and so do they. The only one that doesn't know is her. She doesn't want to know.

The sky people don't listen to her, just because she's younger. They argue with each other all the time. They waste time trying to make everyone happy. They need to stop trying to please everyone. She tries to make them understand that they don't have time, but they don't listen to her.

She's freaking out. You tell everyone to leave immediately. She shows you all her worries. Tell you that she's scared. You can't help but want to protect her. You tell her that love is weakness. To lead with your head and not your heart. That seems to make her mad. Next thing you know she's pointing out your weaknesses. You hate that she knows you. No one knows her. No one is suppose to see her weak. But there she is, making you question yourself.

After you yell at her to leave, you can't stop thinking about her. She let herself be weak around you. She was able to see your weak points. She is brave enough to stand up to you. To challenge you. You find yourself liking this. Liking everything about her. But you have to pick your head over your heart. Even though she smells really good.

She comes back. She's still worried. She wants to make sure everything is planned out. But you can't plan out war. War can never be planned. That's what you tell her. But she wants life to be about more than just surviving. She asks if we deserve better. And you think she's right. She does deserve better. You...you want more. She needs more.

You kiss her. At first you hesitate but then she kisses you back. You forget about the war, the people outside the tent. All you care about is Clarke. All you want is to protect her and give her a better life. When she pulls away and tells you that she's not ready, you feel a ping of hurt but you don't let it show. But then she says not yet, you feel a ping of something different. A ping of hope for the future. And you can wait for as long as it takes because Clarke is worth the wait. You watch as she leaves and all you think about is her. And about how Clarke makes you feel strange.
