You Keep Me Hanging On

Chapter 1- So In Love

In this story, Caleb has lived in Hanna's basement for a lot longer - close to 9 months, instead just a few weeks.

"And she still doesn't suspect a thing?"

"Not at all," Hanna laughed to herself slightly, "Besides wondering why are grocery bill has doubled."

Caleb crossed around to the other side of the island in the middle of the Marin's kitchen and grabbed Hanna's hands, giving them a squeeze and looking down into those blue oceans she called eyes. "I'll help pay for it."

Hanna shook her head, "Really, Caleb, that's not necessary." She leaned in towards him for a kiss, not needing to go on her tip-toes in her heels, and their lips touched.

"Thanks," he answered breathlessly, but Hanna wasn't quite done with him yet. After all, she was doing him a favor, it would only be logical for him to return the good deed. She wrapped her arms around his neck, fiddling with the neck of his grey T-shirt. He quickly responded back, deepening the kiss and feverishly running his hands up and down her back, and pressing up her against the granite countertop. Hanna let out a slight noise of content and entangled her fingers in his long, chocolate locks, making his shock of brown hair even messier than normal.

Caleb laughed into the kiss and took a step back, "We should probably get to school…"

Hanna merely pouted and turned to grab her bag, "Fine."

"See you on the other side, Pretty Girl." Caleb added as he grabbed his grey beanie and headed out the back door.

"See ya, Boyfriend." She waved goodbye, smirking and biting her lip, a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Aria found Hanna first, falling into stride with her a linking arms, "Hey, Han'." Hanna responded with a smile and a simple "Hey."

Spencer came into step with her two friends, and Hanna wrinkled her brow, "Where's Em?"

"Swim practice," Spencer explained, and Hanna nodded, her wide smile still on her face. Aria and Spencer exchanged a glance,

"What's got you so chipper this morning? I never thought I'd see Hanna Marin so radiant at 7-AM," Spencer raised an eyebrow and nudged her blonde friend with her elbow.

Hanna bit her lip, considering whether or not to give her friends details. She decided to be vague, "Just Caleb."

Aria had to scurry along next to her two, taller friends, "Oh, yeah, how's Marin Bed and Breakfast going?"

Spencer smirked, "I think I can guess."

"Shut up, Spencer!" Hanna yelled, but giggled to let her friend know she wasn't really mad.

"'Good morning, Hanna,''Why, Good morning, Caleb..." Spencer said in a mock-flirtatious tone.

Aria and Hanna erupted in a fit of laughter, Hanna giving Spence a playful shove. "Yeah, let's go with that," she finally confirmed.

At the moment, Caleb entered the hallway, his backpack shrugged over his shoulder. He saw Hanna and made a bee-line in her direction, "Morning, Han." He said, glancing at Spencer and Aria.

"The jig's up." Aria told him, "Hanna's got a big mouth."

Caleb just laughed, "Hey, I tried."

"I know." Hanna smiled, leaning over to give him a quick kiss, and whispering in his ear. "I love you."
