Pool-Side

Meridian Hotel, Miami, Florida. Two young Irishwomen lay on lounge chairs near the entrance to the Olympic-sized pool; one was clad in a strapless black single-piece swimsuit with black Ray-Ban sunglasses. Her blonde hair was pulled into a ponytail that dusted across her shoulders, while her bangs flew free, accentuating her face.

Her accomplice lay on the lounge chaise beside her. She also wore a strapless swimsuit, but her swimsuit was a scarlet bikini. The young woman's auburn mane was loose, and she let out a small yawn as she stretched her arms and closed her green eyes.

"Isn't it nice to be out of the cloak-and-dagger business, my dear sister?" the auburn-haired young woman asked. The blonde peered over the top of her sunglasses, toward the other woman.

"I could get used to this, Anna," she answered, lying back on the chaise and placing her sunglasses back over her eyes. A few moments later, a shadow came over her, and she glanced over to her left, hearing her sister Anna giggling on her right.

"Looks like you have admirers there, Nina love," Anna tittered. Nina Williams gazed over, raising a single eyebrow as three young men strode into view. One of the young men bore a shocking resemblance to Paul Phoenix, complete with the tall, blonde hair—if Paul had gone into a time machine and become 25 again, Nina thought with a low laugh. One young man had a shock of brown hair cut into a military-style crewcut, and his African-American friend was shaved bald, though he wore a pair of shades on his forehead. All three seemed musclebound enough to be in the Mr. Universe competition.

"Hey there beautiful," the blonde said with a goofy smile, sticking his hand out. "When did you fall out of heaven?" Nina let out a contemptuous laugh as she turned away from the man and his friends, and noticed that Anna was missing. Nina sat up slightly, heard the blonde man gasp, but paid him no mind as she glanced over his shoulder.

Sure enough, there was Anna, flirting with Mini-Paul's two equally musclebound friends. Nina rolled her eyes and sighed; it seemed that no matter what happened, Anna always seemed able to have every single male eye on her. Anna giggled as Army Boy and Shades flirted with her; Nina was about to lie back down when Mini-Paul cleared his throat.

"So, beautiful, what are you planning on doing later tonight?" he asked with a smile. Nina faced the young man as she prepared to tell him off, when Anna strode by, followed by Shades, Army Boy, and a newbie boy. Mini-Paul turned to Anna and let out a loud wolf-whistle as he bounded toward her, leaving Nina sitting on her chaise lounge. Nina watched the troupe walk by, her sister leading the way, then stared out across the pool with a confused look on her face.

…the hell is going on here? Nina thought.

Anna strode easily past her sister. We all know which sister is the real boy-toy, she thought with a small giggle, pushing her hair behind her ear as she listened to the brunet guy talking. She couldn't remember if his name was Antonio, Luke, Michael, Damien, or Paul, but then again, who cared?
