Well, hey. Almost forgot to post this one. This was another something I had to write because it was stuck in my head. :D Enjoy! . . . or rather, weep and wail at Lloyd's despair.

Little Lonely Lloyd

Raining again.

I hate the rain.

No food again.

I'm so hungry.

No one around again.

I hate having to steal for a living.

He was sulking again.

I have every right to sulk.

He was right.

The seven-year old boy sniffed and drew patterns in the mud. I'm going to need food again tomorrow. His stomach grumbled. And I need food now, too. I wish I had some money.

Rain dripped down his cheeks. He closed his eyes and whimpered. It's cold and wet. I hate when it's cold and wet.

He didn't remember how he got here. He didn't even remember why he was here. But he did know that this dark alley was his shelter, his home.

I don't want it to be my home.

I want a real home with food and a bed and blankets and a happy family. . .

I want my family.

They left me.

No Mommy.

No Daddy.

No friend.

No food.

No home.

No purpose.

No heart.

No hope.

Nothing.

He tilted his face upwards.

The rain falling from the strip of sky above the alley splashed on his cheeks, mingling with the salty tears on his face.

"Mommy?" he breathed. A raindrop fell onto his tongue.

He was seized with anger.

"Mommy! Daddy! Someone!" he screamed at the sky.

The sky didn't answer. The rain just kept falling.

"I can't do this anymore!"

I have no hope. What's the point of living? I have nothing. I need everything.

"I need someone! Help me! Just someone!" His voice faltered, and he broke down in tears. "Please! I'm so alone. . ."

No one here. Nothing to live for. No one to help me.

He curled up in a ball, seeking the little warmth his body produced. So lonely. "Someone, please," he said, his voice trembling. He whispered, "Someone. Someone. Someone."

He knew no one could hear him. No one was here.

"Someone. Please. I need help. I need someone here. I want-t to give up. I can't d-do this."

Helpless.

"P-please."

Desperate.

"I'll do anything."

Despairing.

"Why did you leave me, Mommy? W-why, Daddy?"

Hopeless.

"I can't see you. I c-can't even remember your f-faces."

Pain.

"Come b-back to me."

Powerless.

"Please!" he screamed. "Come back to me! Come back! I'll do anything, just save me from this despair!"

Broken.

"Just save me!. . . save me. . . save m-me. . ."

. . . Alone.

It was terrible, right? :)
