I wanted to work with some of Home and Away's more recent characters so I have come up with this idea...I hope you like it.
Phoebe had been left shaken after her ordeal with the stalker, for the first time she was happy for the house to be full of people. Brax, Kyle, Ricky and Ash had all gathered to try and work out what to do about Phoebe's creepy fan.
"I know what I'd like to do to him" Kyle snarled as he hugged Phoebe
"And how is that going to help" Phoebe frowned "Besides its like Ash said, your family are already in enough trouble. Think about Brax"
"Maybe we could try the police again" Ash suggested causing a mixed reaction "Oh come on there has got to be something else they can do right?"
"Ash has got a point" Phoebe nodded in agreement "I'll call Kat"
Suddenly as Phoebe spoke there was an urgent knock at the door "Oh my god how creepy is that" she laughed as she swing open the door "Talk of the devil and..." Phoebe's sentence was cut short when she realised the identity of the young woman standing in front of her "Lexi" She gasped.
Kyle came to the door and reacted in the same way as Phoebe when he saw the woman, it wasn't her identity that shocked him, more the cuts and bruise she had all over her face "Come in" he said as he stepped to one side to allow Lexi to go inside the house.
Brax, Ricky and Ash all stared at the petite brunette standing in front of them. She was the same height and build as Phoebe and had the same colour hair, apart from Lexi's hair was almost waist length hand was straight, with a side parting.
It was hard to see what Lexi was wearing because she had a small child in her arms; it was a little blonde haired boy, who didn't look to be any older than 5 or 6. The little boy was fast asleep "Kyle can you?" Phoebe didn't need to ask.
"Sure" Kyle replied as he took the boy out of Lexi's arms "I'll lay him on our bed"
After Kyle took the boy out of Lexi's arms it was then obvious to everyone just how quickly Lexi had left the house. She was wearing a pair of pink linen pj bottoms and a white singlet vest top.
"What happened?" Phoebe started before being interrupted.
"Pheebs" Lexi said softly as she looked at Ricky, Brax and Ash. None of them had stopped looking at her since she arrived "I think they want to know who I am"
"Sorry...Ricky, Brax, Ash...this is my sister Alexis" Phoebe introduced Lexi to them.
"Lexi" Lexi smiled.
"Yeah sorry, Lexi" Phoebe seemed worried about her sister "So what the hell happened? Did Josh do this?"
Lexi didn't speak she just nodded a reply "I guess you can say I told you so" she smiled weakly.
"I'd never say that" Phoebe frowned as she was rejoined by Kyle.
"So are you saying a guy did this to you?" Ricky stepped forwards in shock, Lexi didn't reply.
"Sounds like a top bloke" Ash added in a sarcastic tone.
"Ash" Ricky warned.
"Sorry, not my place" Ash quickly apologised.
Lexi just shrugged "It's a fair comment" she laughed a little.
"We should call the police" Phoebe stood up and grabbed the phone off the side.
"NO" Lexi stood up to stop her "You can't"
"What? Why?" Phoebe asked "You can't let him get away with this Lexi, look at you"
"I know" Lexi sighed "But you can't ring the police"
Phoebe frowned as she thought for a few moments "Hang on" she smirked "You kicked his ass right back didn't you?"
Lexi nodded "Yeah I kinda did"
"Good girl" Ricky smiled.
"The thing is I have walked out of the house with nothing" Lexi exhaled "Just Jacob and the car keys, I was hoping you could find me somewhere to stay, just for a couple of nights until I get myself sorted"
"You can have my room" Ash volunteered his room without hesitation.
"Brax" Phoebe hoped Brax would agree.
"What about the guy?" Brax turned to Lexi "Is he likely to come looking for you?"
"Nah" Lexi shook her head.
"And what about the kid, will he come after him?" Brax asked.
"No" Lexi replied "Jacob has nothing to do with Josh"
"Oh come on Brax, she has nowhere else to go" Ricky interrupted.
"Fine" Brax knew he wasn't going to win this one so he agreed "But only until you get yourself sorted"

Next morning Brax had just come back from a surf when he saw Lexi getting a bag out of her car "G'day" he smiled as he walked towards her.
"Oh hey" Lexi smiled half heartedly "Thanks for letting me stay"
"That's alright" Brax smiled "Is it true what Phoebe said?"
Lexi looked confused "That you have nowhere else to go?" Brax explained.
"Yeah it is unfortunately" Lexi sighed as she locked her car.
"What about your dad?" Brax asked causing Lexi to laugh.
"I'm not exactly on speaking terms with the old man" Lexi seemed amused by Brax's question "He threw me out when I was 16"
"Wow" Brax raised his eyebrows; he knew Phoebe and Lexi's dad was a piece of work but to throw his 16 year old daughter out "What happened?"
"I got pregnant" Lexi's reply was simple "And he wanted me to get rid of it, but I couldn't do it"
"Fair enough" Brax nodded "What about the dad, is he not around?"
"He was" Lexi's demeanour had now changed "But he was killed in a car crash when Jake was 3"
"I'm sorry" Brax didn't know what to say
"It's alright, me and Jake get by ok" Lexi smiled as she opened the door into the Braxton house "Thanks again" she smiled as she walked into the house. Brax walked through the other door, Ricky was at the table waiting for him.
"So what did she say?" Ricky asked curiously "Is she still in contact with her dad?"
"No he kicked her out when he found out she was pregnant?" Brax replied "She has been fending for herself since she was 16?"
Ricky couldn't hide the smile that was creeping across her face
"What?" Brax frowned, causing Ricky's smile to widen.
"You want to help her don't you?" Ricky grinned widely.
"Poor kid deserves a break" Brax sighed as he sat at the table opposite "I just don't think she..."
"Brax, she beat up the guy who gave her a black eye" Ricky laughed slightly "Of course she fits in"
