Yup i'm finishing this trilogy, i'm back and oh my god the story plan i have for this make me tear up just thinking about it. Anyway here goes nothing.
Years passed, no sign of Krei. The band of heros and friends had gone on with their 'normal' lives, collage, the occasional fred pardy, and stopping the occasional bad guy without even much trouble.
As the two years passed collage life for the band of friends had gone on, Hiro got enough credits to skip a full grade. The gang invented and tweaked their old inventions, but something loomed ahead of them in the near future that scared them out of their wits and caused them to lose a lot of hours of sleep.
Graduation day loomed within days and everyone was on edge. Mostly because of the lack of sleep. But not just that, everyone was worried about the final project that was due tomorrow. Even if they had been working on them for years now, they were all worried about their small flaws, Wasabi's lasers occasionally destabilized and fired a random laser off somewhere in the lav, a bug in the stabilizers. Honey Lemons chemical embrittlement required a lot of the element to embrittle. Gogos bike… still not fast enough, and Hiro… well Hiros project was Beymax.
"Two days left guys!" Hiro called into the lab as he threw open the labs double doors. No one paid him any mind. He walked up to Gogo, her jacket was thrown onto the back of her chair and she wore a purple tank top, and she was working furiously on her bike. "Hey Gogo, hows it going?"
"I'm going to pretend you didn't ask that. Hey Hiro, why are you so chiper?" She didn't even bother looking up from tightening bolts.
"We're graduating in a week, and i have enough credits to graduate with you guys."
"Ya, cool, you're smarter than freaking Einstein. Do you have any ideas on how i can make it faster." She asked pointing to her bike.
"I have an idea how you can drop about 90 pounds." A smile crept across his face.
Gogo practically jumped over her bike as she grabbed his shoulders. "HOW!?" Hiro just smiled. "Wait the bike only weighs about ten pounds. How could i…" The realization came to her mid sentence, she promptly slugged him in the arm, Hiro yelped in pain and surprise.
"What was that for?!"
"Are you calling me fat Hamada?" She pointed a finger into his face.
"What you weghe less than 90 pounds? I'm just saying you could robotize the pedaling, put a motor in the middle of the pedals you drop." HE hesitated. "70 pounds." He braced himself but she smiled.
"Thanks, Hiro." She kissed him on the check then pushed him away, "now go i have work to do."
He smiled and walked on, he came up to Wasabi. "hows it going Wasabi?" His laser were on and bright.
"Just trying to figure out why the lasers don't want to stay between the restrictors."
"Did you try ultra-focusing the lasers so the plasma can't move where it wants?"
"Ya, i did."
"Did you try the opposite? o that it can move, but pump more power into the restrictors."
"No, i didn't. i'll give it a try. Thanks little man."
"No problem," he walked away, but was stopped fast by Honey Lemon. "Hey honey."
"Hey Hiro, you got anything in that bug brain to help me?" He spanish accent strong from the lack of sleep.
He shrugged, "you obviously tried changing the proportions so that with smaller material gets a smaller amount of gas, right?"
"Ya, but everytime i try smaller dosage it doesn't cover all the tungsten."
"Well did you try it as a one size fits all? No proportions needed."
She stared at him blankly for a second than a smile slowly came to her face, in a flash she drew him into a hug. "THANKS HIRO!" Than before he could react she was gone. He looked to Wasabi, he just shrugged and went back to work.
Hiro walked by Fred and waved, he was face deep in a comic book and Hiro didn't want to disturb him. So he walked into his room, as soon as he closed the door he collapsed into his chair.
He was exhausted. Who knew acting strong tired you out so fast? He leaned his head back so he was looking at the ceiling and closed his eyes, How did you do it Tadashi, how were you always so brave and strong? His thoughts continued to wonder for awhile, but he was snapped back to reality when someone cleared their throat. His eyes shot open and he shot to his feet.
A small girl, (Still taller than Hiro.) stood in his doorway, her black hair pulled back into a messy ponytail, her amber eyes were cast down at the floor. She wore a black and blue hoodie with her favorite band, Fall Out Boy, emblazoned across it, and a black skirt that stopped just above her knee. "Brains, you scared me. Hows are you?"
"Sorry, i'm good." Her eyes didn't leave the floor as she spoke.
"Is there something i can help you with?"
"Ya actual."
"... What is it?" Hiro asked getting a little annoyed.
"This is really hard to ask."
"It's just me Brains, what's up?"
She took a deep breath, "I need your help with…" Hiro leaned in with anticipation." … A boy."
Hiro nearly laughed out loud, but thought better of it. "What do you mean?" He remembered back to the time when Gogo had told him Brains through of him as more than a friend.
"Well there's this guy i like and i don't know how to approach him."
"First off, it's not me right?"
"No, no, no. Not that i don't…" She babbled on after realising what she said, she was blushing deeply.
"I understand Brains, second just try walking up to him. Share a conversation, did Gogo ever tell you how she asked me out?"
"No."
"She asked the group if anyone wanted to test out her newest bike wheels with her, I thought it would be fun so i went with her. She drove us up to that mountain overlook, and she just came out and asked me. Why don't you try something like that?"
"I can't, i'm not Gogo my 'great invention' is a throwable taser. Am i going to walk up to him and say 'hey want to test my stun disK?' and chuck it at him."
Hiro couldn't stop the giggle that came out. "You don't have to copy her, heck you don't even have to try what she did, i was just giving you an idea.
Her shoulders slumped. "I know but I thought you could help."
"Sorry if i didn't have Gogo i don't know if i could have asked anybody out. This in not my area of expertise, trust me i don't think any of us are really good at the whole dating aspect of life. Maybe ask Fred, he's the most normal of us all."
Her face flushed red. "um… i'll think about it, there are some complications with that idea."
"I don't see what -" He stopped mid sentence, "-You like Fred." A smile cracked his face.
Her blush deepened "Don't tell him!" She hissed, "Don't tell anyone, not even Gogo!" Than she stormed off. Hiro collapsed back into his chair still with a stupid grin plastered to his face.
A few hard hours later, Hiro was still in his office pouring over blueprints for new suit upgrades. His eyelids began to feel heavy as he slowly started to drift off to sleep.
"HIRO!" Fred slammed open his door, and shouted his name.
Hiro nearly fell out of his chair, "Doesn't anyone ever knock?!"
"Sorry man, but i had the best idea for my suit!"
"At least close the door before you go yelling about the suits." Hiro hissed.
Fred turned, slammed the door, then turned back "Ok, now what would you say to making the flame thrower… BLUE?"
Hiro looked at him blankly, "three things, one, how would i do that without hurting you? Two, you do realize that blue flames can reach temperatures that would burn your skin off? Three, why do you want blue flames?"
"Well i was looking through this comic book and this guy with fire powers went crazy and started spraying blue flames."
Hiro huffed, "Ok Fred, I'll try." He was in no mood to hear this, but he didn't want to be a jerk to Fred. Than a thorough popped into his head as Fred turned to leave. "Fred wait." He stopped and turned, "Keep your eyes open, you might have a secret admirer."
"Really, who?"
"I can't tell you." Hiro smirked.
"Oh come on man, you can't just say something like that and not give me a clue."
"Ok, you know her. Now get out, i have to start figuring out how to make blue flames." Fred waved a dismissive hand and left. Hiro sighed and leaned back in his chair, just staring at the ceiling.
"What did you do to Fred?" A girls voice drifted in, Hiro didn't need to look, he knew who it was. Gogo.
"He asked for blue flames, I said i would work on it. Why aren't you working on your bike?'
"What, your not happy to see me?" She gave a mock frown.
"You know what i meant."
"Ya, i needed a break, and an expert's mind." She crossed the room and looked for a chair, when she couldn't find one she plopped down in his lap. "You really need more chairs in here."
"I think i'm good. Why did you need my mind?"
"I think that can wait." She reached up and ran a hand through his messy hair and pulled him down into a kiss. It hadn't lasted long before someone burst in and shouted, "Hiro we need to-" They stopped when they realized what was happening.
"Damn it brains, haven't you ever heard of knocking?" Hiro said, not bothering to pull too far from Gogo.
"sorry but we need to talk."
"Can't it wait?"
"I mean i guess so, but its really important."
"I'll help you. Later."
"Ok," She walked out.
"Now where were we?"
Yup its back, and MORE SHIPS. Is Fred going to like her back?! Who knows, i might be mean. I might not. It feels good to be writing this stuff again. I'LL BE BACK! DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE A REVIEW IF YOU WANT!
