JerryAdventures: Another World
(The Rescue of Jerry)
Michael woke up with a start, panting. His head hurt tremendously, his brain practically pounding against his skull. His face was beaded with sweat, his pillow wet against his hair. He looked around his room frantically, looking for the one thing he cared about the most. He looked in his drawer, next to his drawings. He looked under his bed, next to his magazines. He looked in his bathroom, next to the lotion. But he could not find what he was looking for. The worst had come.
"Someone took Jerry."
A beeping. Some sort of beeping. His eyes, still glossy from sleep, opened slowly. He growned with rest, his head bobbing to the side as his glanced at his alarm clock. 3 AM. Of course. Sith got up from his head, glancing at his monitor. A single notification rang out on the curved display: "Greigames is making a call".
As he strode to the chair next to his desk, he picked up his glasses, trying to focus. He clicked answer.
"Oh Sith thank god you answered, I need your help.", Michael yelled. Sith grunted in affirmation, still tired. "Yeah, alright, what do you need exactly?" Michael sniffed in concentration. "Someone kidnapped Jerry, I can't find him!". Sith immediatly straightened, his drowsiness worn off entirely. Jerry, kidnapped? Was he hearing this right? "Hold on, Michael, Jerry's been kidnapped?"
"Yes, yes, he's just gone! I looked everywhere man, he's gone! I can't find him! I need your help to find him!" Sith's heart was now pounding, his head going through a ton of calculations. How could he help? What happened? Where could Jerry even be?
"Ok, Michael, just breath. We can fix this. Look, clean yourself up, and we'll discuss the plan afterwards. I've gotta think about all this to find a solution. Just...give me a few minutes, ok?" With that, Sith disconnected the call. He trembled, a single drop of sweat dripping off his head. He cared about Jerry too, just as much as Michael did. He had to help him fix this, no matter the cost. He knew what he had to do.
