"One foot after another, it's sim-AHH GHH G- okay, okay you got this. It's simple. It's just-just balance. BalAJGHHYanAANanAANCE Oh goD JESUS ALIV Eokay okay okay I have this, i have this."
Asgore pushed on the pedals of the bicyicle as the wheels rocked back and forth, the metal frame creaking and groaning under his weight. Maybe buying a children's bike for a fully grown goat monster wasn't the best of ideas, but he'd be dammed if he wasn't going to at least try!
He contineud to wobble the handle, pushing himself forwards slowly, muttering to himself as he tried to keep moving.
The human made it seem so gosh darn easy!
Maybe this is why Toriel left me, he thouhgt to himself, as the bike threatened to tip over.
He then pulled the handle to the left, righting himself, and continuing on the narrow path he'd set, straight to Toriel's place.
"She'll rethink wanting to be friends with me, for sure! After she sees my cool skills on this bike!" Asgore mused to himself, pedaling a little faster with this added determination.
After an hour he finally reached Toriel's place, the creaking of his bike making her quite aware of his prescence as she peered out the window, with a worrying eye.
"Frisk, go to your room sweetie, I think it's time to take San's advice" She whispered in a calm voice, shooing the fallen child back up to their room, before going to the door, taking a deep breath.
"Hello... Asgore..." She said as she opened the door, looking down at the king riding upon a small child's bike, looking quite proud of himself.
"Hello! Toriel, I have come here to impress you with my, 'elite biking BMX skillz!' He sputtered out, quite unsure of the way it was pronounced, but having faith in himself nonetheless.
"Will you consider my reqmrphhphmrhphphphphph" he said, as Toriel slammed a trashcan onto his head, and kicked him over, stealing back away into her house, with a muttered 'god dammit' under her breath, before locking the door, and heading upstairs.
Asgore stayed that way for three hours before biking home.
Maybe next time buddy.
