A/N: Ok so this is my first fic on here! I hope you guys really like it.
Alfred didn't understand. Why did it bother him so much today? The two were mean to each other all the time and this time should be no different. But this time it hurt. It had never hurt before, before it had been something they just did. It was natural. Like birds would always fly, fish would always swim, and Ivan and Alfred would always be cold towards each other. It had been that way for so many years so what had changed? Maybe he should ask his friend Kiku. Kiku was super smart so surely he'd know what was wrong. But if he did he couldn't let Kiku know he was asking about himself because that would seem super unheroic. Wait, this would be super easy he'd just ask pretending he was talking about a manga. He fished his brand new iphone out of his pocket and called his friend.
"Hello Alfred."
"Hey bro, I was wondering if you could help me with something." Alfred said
"Sure, I will try to assist you the best I can." Kiku answered.
"Well I'm reading this manga and the main character is acting really weird but I'm not really sure why. I thought you could help since your pretty smart and know pretty much everything there is to know about manga."
"What do you mean by weird?" Kiku questioned sounding interested.
"Well the main character and this other guy are arguing and these two argue like all the time 'cause the main character is like a major hero and the other guy is totally evil. So they're arguing again and the evil dude says something really super harsh about the heroic dude. Usually the heroic dude just shakes it off but this time it really gets to him. It's to the point that it's almost all he can think about and he can't get anything done but he doesn't know why. I can't really figure it out either." he explained.
"Alfred I didn't know you read yaoi!" Kiku exclaimed.
"W-what!" Alfred stuttered.
"Well it's obvious the main character is falling for the other." Kiku stated as if it was the most obvious answer in the entire world. "The main character is just to stubburn and oblivious to notice." Alfred almost dropped the phone.
"I'm not in love with that freak!" Alfred shouted.
"Alfred?" Kiku questioned.
"Ya?" Alfred answered sounding a bit sick.
"This isn't about a manga is it?" Kiku asked. Alfred sighed exasperatedly. "Sorry but I kinda guessed it wasn't half way through your explanation and you pretty much just confirmed it."
"No. But dude, we're so not in…" he started but was quickly cut off.
"This would be easier to discuss in person. Want to meet at my house tomorrow."
"Sure." Alfred responded sounding upset. "See ya then"
God he felt like he could die. Love? Ivan was his enemy. Surely Kiku was wrong. He had to be but Alfred knew there were very few times he was. He sunk into his large couch and raked his fingers through his hair. What was wrong with him?
A/N: Hope you guys like it so far. I'll try to make the next chapter a little longer. I'm not all that sure about what the rating will end up as so it may change.
