Authors note: Ok, so this is the first fic I've ever tried writing, so don't be to hard on me! The reason I made this is because I love this song and i thought it fits with the emotion and everything in that scene. anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it at least a little bit.
I own nothing!
Hold on… hold on… don't be scared,
You'll never change what's been and gone
May your smile…shine on…
Don't be scared
Your destiny may keep you warm
"Marissa… Marissa…Marissa!" He felt the worry within him take over completely along with the horrible thought of her dying that flooded his mind. But as she started moving he regained a twinge of some hope.
"Ok, ok, I'm gonna get help ok!? I gotta get help…" He had to save her, because the thought of her gone hurt to much.
" No, no, don't leave... no, no!" He could hear the fear of him leaving her alone in her weak voice.
"Yea, Yea, I gotta get help!" he started to panic as he looked into his first loves' eyes.
"No… stay…don't leave" she said with every once of strength she had left.
."Ok…" he answered, with uncertainty present in his voice and whole body.
Cause all of the stars have faded away,
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Get up…come on… why you scared?
You'll never change what's been and gone
Her breathing started to get really heavy and Ryan noted how so very tired she looked.
He started whispering reassuring words to her and told her to hold on, because if she didn't, he knew he'd never be the same again.
Her eyelids got even heavier and the presence in her eyes started to fade away way too quickly. Ryan sat helpless as he felt her entire body get drained of its strength.
"Marissa…" he called as he gently shook her. The lack of any response made panic take over yet again; raise his heartbeat and tears burning in his eyes. "Marissa… Marissa!"
"No… NO!" he choked out at Marissa's limp body in his arms as his vision got blurry.
All his memories of her played in his head, good and bad. All the love he felt for her came to the surface as he tightened his grip on her and pushed her tight to his body. His bent form started to shake violently and loud sobs escaped his dry lips.
Cause all of the stars have faded away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Cause all of the stars have faded away,
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
"I love you… I don't want you to leave me" he whispered as he once again tried to shake life into her, but without succeeding.
Ryan Atwood never cried, in fact he hadn't shed a tear in years, but as he finally realised that the love of his life was gone forever, he let them flood freely down his face.
Because Marissa Cooper was gone, and all he could do was cry, cry and hope that one day, he'd see her again
When all of the stars were faded away,
Just try not to worry
You'll see us some day
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
