Beauty, Sayuri was the epitome of that very word. Mai could never take her eyes off of her, her precious and beloved friend she almost lost..the friend she wanted so desperately die for.

Life without Sayuri was simply meaningless..

Right now, Mai sat laid up in her hospital bed, watching her friend as she looked out their window as the snow fell down so elegantly on the parking lot, her eyes shining brightly.

"Sayuri.." She says quietly, the girl in question turns around and smiles at her softly.

"Yes?"

"Come here." Her tone is the same as always, unemotional and montone. Still, Sayuri complies as she walks over to her bed side. "What is it, Mai?" Mai swings her legs across the bed and sits up, facing Sayuri.

Sayrui sat beside her and smiled widely. It's all she can do, not to just grab her and kiss her..Mai lacks self control around her, unfortunately. Because, she does just that.

Grabing her by the chin, Mai pulled Sayuri's face gently towards her own, closing the distance with their lips in a slow kiss. Both of their eyes fluttered closed as the snow fell down gently outside the comfort of their warm hospital room.

Pulling back, Mai's dark eyes glew in the moonlight.

"Sorry." Sayuri looked at her, as if she were trying to process what just happened and what she should do about it.

Mai suddenly felt as though she had ruined everything, she looked away, instead focusing her attention on her lap.

Sayuri grabbed her by the chin, making her look at Sayuri, who wore a beautiful smile.

"Sayuri wonders what took Mai so long?" She said, looking at Mai as if she were the most beautiful thing on earth, the ex demon huntress blushed under her gaze and shrugged cutely.

Sayuri giggled quietly.

And the two girls leaned in for another kiss.
