A Lion King 2: Simba's Pride Fanfiction:
Disclaimer: as much as i'd love to, i do NOT own lion king, Disney does.
Simba's POV:
Dawn. The new day is just beginning to rear its head; this is the day when I reveal my young cub, Kiara to the subjects of my kingdom. I glance over at Nala, sleeping peacefully with her, they both mean so much to me, there's nothing that I wouldn't do to protect them.
Drums sound, and I hear Rafiki call the animals together, it's almost time…
Stepping out of the cave, the sun warms my mane, and the sweet smells of morning wash over me. I'm restless, filled to the brim with anticipation. Rafiki steps forward and paints the ceremonial crown on Kiara's forehead, she sneezes, and i chuckle softly, feeling a great warm rush of affection for her, her grandfather would be so proud.
Rafiki takes Kiara from Nala, and lifts her high into the air, as all the animals bow in respect to their future queen, heir to my throne etc etc etc.
I hear Timon, my meerkat best friend, sigh softly behind me.
Timon's POV:
"Ah, Pumbaa, look at that little guy, a chip off the old block! And you gotta know who's gonna raise him," i say to Pumbaa, my old warthog pal, the one with the, um, 'special power'.
"His parents?" inquired Pumbaa, showing just how much of a simpleton he is, i mean, must i be the only one with brains around here?
"Oh sure, get technical!" i say, "but who's gonna teach him the really important stuff? like how to belch," i let loose a massive burp, quite impressive if you ask me, "and did for grubs?" i leap lightly from Pumbaa's nose. "I'm telling ya buddy, it's gonna be like old times; you, me, and the little guy."
Just then, that weird psychic monkey, the one they call 'Rafiki' chuckles,
"It is a girl,"
"Girl," i say smiling. Then, realisation strikes, cold and clear:
"GIRL!" Pumbaa and i cry in unison, before everything goes black.
I know it's REALLY short, and mostly just a description of the movie's events so far, but i promise it will get more fan-fictiony later! anyhoo, please review and tell me any ideas you have for the story as right now, i'm coming up a little blank _ so it may take me some time to upload again, but i will as soon as possible.
