A/N: so I had to write a dialogue for an English assignment. So I tweaked it a bit to turn it into a twilight story.

Basically before Bella , Edward had a lover/ girlfriend: Jezebel. But she cheated on him and left for another guy who was even richer and higher up in the social class. Dumping Edward like week old soup, he was heartbroken. Till he met bella who he fell in love with. He feels a love and passion for her [bella] so much greater than what he ever felt for Jezebel.

So now jez is back and wants Edward. But he goes and sets the bitch strait.

Lie to Me Forever More

"You don't have to pretend" her voice husky and seductive in his ear.

"I know you still desire me."

"Whatever do you mean," he turned to face her, his own face cold and stoic.

"Because I know about her… that little harlot of yours," she snarled.

He growled, "She, like the rest of my personal affairs, are none of your concern. Not anymore."

"How can you do this to me? To us," she screeched, "I am the one who love-"

"Love," he roared, "you know nothing of the sort. All I ever was to you was another step up on the social ladder. Just a little pawn in your game, but now I know better."

"Ha, is this what your little darling," she mocked, "has given you, her love?"

"That and so much more," he replied.

"And just what exactly is that," she ridiculed, running her hands suggestively along the contours of her body.

"Her love, faith, trust and her heart, when all you gave me were lies and deceit," he hissed

"They were the reason I could pretend that you ever loved me, and foolishly I believed you," he sighed, "What I feel for her outshines any feeling I ever had for not anymore…it's over.

"No," her voice shrill with disbelief that he was actually leaving her, "you belong to me."

"No," his face painted with fury, "I belong to her and her alone. "She doesn't deserve you," her voice low in an almost inaudible whisper

"You're right, she deserves much better," his voice hard and cold, but brilliant emerald eyes tinged with awe, "but for some reason, God only knows why, she chose me."

"No…she didn't," she laughed bitterly, "she chose your facade; the mask that you show the world."

"She doesn't know you like I do and if she did, she would never touch you," she traced a scar disguised beneath his shirt.

"You're wrong," he gripped her wrist, before pushing it from him in disgust, "she knows me like no other."

"So then you would have her…an undeserving little wench," she shrieked in outrage.

"Better than a cold-hearted, vulgar, money seeking courtesan, like you Jezebel," he growled in cold fury, before walking away from her rants of outrage.

Out on the street he flagged down a cab, "Union Square, please." His face a hard expressionless mask.

Paying the cab driver he walked two blocks down to a candlelight restaurant, Twilight. Peering into the window, his eyes light up as his met those observing chocolate brown doe eyes of his love. Face softening to a smile as she motioned him into the restaurant. Slipping his hand into his pocket he lightly fingered the small velvet engagement ring box hidden there, before going in… to his Bella.
