The harsh corridors of Holby slammed shut 'Chrissie! Sacha!' Eddi shouted awkwardly across the car park. 'Yeah?' Sacha turned around and stared blankly 'what's up?' he continued.

'That guy, Ben… I changed my mind about meeting him' Eddi shouted.

'Really?' Sacha arched his brows

'Yeah really' Eddi said confidently pulling her coat on more so the chilly air,

They stood in the car park as Sacha gave Eddi the details.

Eddi stood looking into her reflection in the mirror. She had done her hair different it looked more girly. She hoped that Chrissie wouldn't mock her, but she was Eddi McKee when did she ever care what anyone thought. As she stared at herself in the mirror she thought of Luc and when he had kissed her in the car park after their fight and practically begged her for a date, she smiled that night had ended well. She shook her head at the distant memory before grabbing her keys on the way out.

The night went well, Sacha's terrible jokes, Chrissie mocked Eddi, and well…Ben was of course a totally geek 'that's a nice star wars t-shirt you got there Ben' Eddi had joked 'Yeah its real nice isn't it maybe afterwards I could show you my light saber collection' Ben had joked. Eddi had nearly gagged when he got close enough for her to smell his breath, 'yeah, maybe…' she said sarcastically.

After dinner Sacha and Chrissie said there goodbyes. Chrissie had even hugged Eddi, Eddi was shocked at the move but understood when Chrissie whispered 'don't go home with him' and had walked away mouthing the words total freak.

They had been waiting for half an hour when the rain started to pour and Ben offered Eddi his coat 'No really its fine' Eddi had snapped she kind of felt bad for the guy at first but now he just seemed desperate 'Suit yourself moody' the guy had growled and then turned before getting in the first cab 'You want to come home with me doll face?' He has said huskily well had tried too Eddi nearly laughed at the nickname that looked like it had walked right out of a western movie, properly had 'Or are you gonna go home and be alone again' the guy laughed harshly the words, alone and again really got to eddi this time as tears started to flock down her cheeks.

'No…she will not be not coming home with you now get out of my sight you waste of space' she heard someone say from behind her. That familiar voice, the one that sounded like clean sheets and fresh cut grass, the voice that ran havoc in her dreams,

The voice of none other than Luc Hemmingway. The guy got in the cab and shut the door behind him angrily.

Luc took one look at Eddi who had smeared make up and wet clothes. Taking off his jacket he forced it around her shoulders 'How?' Eddi whispered quietly

'Chrissie texted me' Luc said 'she doesn't hate you as much as you think apparently the guy was a total freak who spent the whole night looking at your best assets' Luc said annoyed. 'Oh Eddi' Luc mumbled 'What were you doing? With him? …Your worth so much more than that' He finished running a hand through his hair.

'You left your key, and I miss you and god damn it Luc …your all I can think about and I just…I freaking love you okay?' Eddi said Angrily as the words spilled from her lips but before she could say another word Luc pushed her up against the cold brick wall 'say that again' He demanded

'I love you L…' Before she could finish Luc's lips connected with hers in a fiery ball of passion. They kissed for some time battling for dominance until they pulled apart and Luc pushed his forehead to Eddi's

'I Love you too Eddi, I'm gonna take you home now' Luc whispered enter winding there hands.

I know what your going to say, didn't really resolve any of their problems but… damn I really wanted this to happen or for Ben to be Luc and Eddi be all like 'OH MY GOD' and then the making babies and the Ikea and yeah… ill just shut up.
