AN: I don't own Harry Potter
As it is unofficially Fenrir February here is a little Fenrir fic that has been on my mind for a few months. It's related to another idea of mine, but this set before that story begins. This story most likely won't be more than 5 chapters long not including the prologue.
Fenrir Greyback: Jason Momoa
Blaez : Travis Fimmel
Faoiltiama: Halle Berry
Prologue: 31st Oct 1971
The late afternoon sun shone in the sky above a small settlement.
Fenrir stood watching over his pups, a small group of ten sleeping children whose ages ranged from being as young as five months to ten years old.
"Alpha," a voice called behind him, Fenrir turned his head to see his beta Blaez approaching.
"Blaez," he responded with a small nod.
"How are the pups?" Blaez asked concern evident on his face.
"Recovering well, despite the circumstances," he answered, "Little Cana survived which is better than I hoped."
"Good," Blaez nodded, "But we aren't out of the woods yet."
Fenrir nodded, knowing that the real challenge would be tonight when the full moon rose in the night sky and his pups changed for the first time.
"They will survive" a third voice joined the conversation, "They are strong pups."
"Faoi," Blaez greeted his mate and pressed his lips to the top of her forehead.
"Mate," Faoiltiama replied allowing Blaez to pull her close.
"You are correct Faoi," Fenrir responded not enjoying witnessing the moment between his beta and his beta's mate, "The pups are strong."
"And so are you Fen," she continued her eyes glistening with concern, "Acc-"
"Don't," Fenrir snapped.
"Fen," Faoi started again but was cut off.
"Please don't talk about her," Fenrir growled.
"It's been seven years Fen," Blaez spoke up, his own voice harsh as his wolf fought over protecting his mate and obeying his alpha.
"Seven long years," Fenrir growled, "She was my mate and I have to spend the rest of my days without her knowing she was killed because a Ministry prick thinks that Werewolves are monsters."
"Fen," Blaez stuttered, "She didn't..."
"I know she didn't mean anything by it," Fenrir growled, "I know she feels my pain, as Accalia was her sister but thinking about Accalia makes me angry."
"Fen, we all hate what happened with Accalia and Lyall Lupin," Blaez spoke, "The bastard deserved to be ripped to pieces for what he did to Accalia."
"Turning his son wasn't the answer," Fenrir replied, "I know but he took my son from me, I wanted to do the same."
"Fen," Faoi heart softened, "Why did you never say Accalia was with pup?"
"We hadn't known long," Fen answered, "We wanted to wait."
A cold wind blew around the settlement and the group's eyes shifted to the sky which was starting to darken.
"Get the others," Fenrir ordered, "We need to make sure our pups survive the night."
