"Look for Millie. Her flour mill is north and west of the castle," the cook calls. "Don't forget the milk and eggs!" They're also near the mill.
"The map is my friend," I mumble to myself as I wander from the kitchen inside Lumbridge Castle to the outdoors. I can't let the cook down. He needs the ingredients to make a cake for the King. I make my way past the fountains and head north. The cook led me to believe the mill is nearby. It feels like I'm aimlessly walking, though I do know I am headed north.
"These businesses need signs," I think. The town is so big and with thousands of visitors arriving daily, it only makes sense for the proprietors to hang shingles above their stores. I find myself entering one business after another, in search of the Mill.
I enter what I presume to be a bank. I approach a woman behind the grille. Indeed she is a bank teller. I have no business here so I leave and soon enter another shoppe. The owner reveals he is the owner of, "A bait shop for fishing." Again I leave the store even more desperate to complete my quest.
I find the farmer and see chickens, but later discover I didn't to slay the hen with my pick to get the eggs for the cook. "Sorry, farmer," I say to myself.
Outside the farmhouse I pick a fight with…lords knows what. My health is depleted. I must get some cabbage. The patch is nearby, but the fence makes it impossible to reach for a cabbage. Oh well, I'll continue my quest in less than perfect health.
Ah! The Mill, the Mill! I'm thrilled to have eggs and have now found Millie. "What?" I say to myself. I'm disappointed to learn that I must pick wheat in a nearby field, then return to grind it into flour. I don't despair. The field is very near. A few handfuls of wheat and I'll be on the home stretch. I return to the mill, climb the ladder to the third floor to put the wheat in the grinder. I work the grinder, return to the first floor to collect my newly ground flour and…WHAT? Millie informs me, "You need a pot to collect the flour."
My quest as the cook's assistant continues.
