Saving From Clutches(prologue)

Alfie POV

I couldn't believe it...Ambie's gone. That portal just opened up, and she was gone. I miss her so much, she was like a sister to me. Oh, great...Rufus is back.

"Now that those foolish children are gone, we can continue our plans to concur all." He roars. I'll admit it, I would fight him if I had the guts. He's hurt Ambereta so many times...

"Sir, if I might, where else is there to control? We already rule this world." Eddie speaks up, echoing my own thoughts.

"Alas, I have heard of another world where other dragons live. Where my brother used to live, the world of Ninjago. I have already found a ally there, as he has a army. So, both worlds will bow down to the dragons of old!" He shoots a black stream of fire, I feel my eyes widen. That's where Ambie went! She's in danger! How...how can I warn her?

"Jerome, you along with your men will head there first to clear the path. I will follow shortly." Jerome gives a slight bow.

"As you wish, so it will be." Oh, wow...suck-up. All of us head into what I'm guessing was Ninathala's room. Most of it is destroyed, yet some books have managed to outlast the flames.

"Is now a good or a bad time to say we're dead?" I whisper over to Eddie. He smiles, but quickly stops. Nothing is the same anymore, we can no longer talk to others, we can't see the girls anymore, and I can't even talk to Ambie without the fear of Rufus finding out. I remember when we could speak openly, like siblings...

FLASHBACK

I watch as Amber runs around the den, trying to find where she put her nightshade. It was a powerful healing herb. I can only smile when she starts yelling about evil spirits taking them. She's always saying something like that. I walk up to her. "Or, you know, you left them on the shelf." I point over to the herb shelf. Right there was the nightshade.

"Oh, hush up you goofball." She smiles and nuzzles my cheek.

END FLASHBACK

Oh, those were the days.

"Alfie,you ready?" I look over at Jerome.

"I hope so..." With that, all three of us leap into the portal. Here I come, Amber...
