(Max's POV)
Tucking my wings in, we flew out into another clearing, flying with the birds. Let me explain myself. Due to our little bit of Avian dna, each of us represents a different type of bird, so we feel like we belong with other flocks.
Nudge had developed some form of a music love over the past few months-she had begged me to get her an ipod- so I kind of did. I didn't know what she listened to, but she seemed lost in the music as she flew, mouthing words to songs I would probably not like. Nudge has a wierd taste in music. She likes country, but also likes punk-pop. I found this out when we were at Anne's and Nudge was on a school computer.
"Max!" Nudge said, looking at me. She had some band on the screen, and she had a headphone dangling out of her ear. She was listening to music. What you guys don't know about Nudge isn't really important at thee moment' this was an important thing to know: Nudge loved musicals' music in general too.
"Yeah, Krystal?" I was trying not to calll her Nudge, but mind you it's hard for someone not to call someone something.
"Look at this cool new music I found! They're as good as the Taylor twins." Nudge was whooping and I knew it was a good thing, but I knew it wasn't exactly the same style.
"Krystal, I know you like music but shouldn't you focus on school? " I tried to lie, but I knew it was unsafe for Nudge to join a whole bunch of fansites. She already liked a lot of book series; especially one she claimed reminded her of us; outcasts but we fit in somewhere (which was true in a sad way at the School), so I gave her a gentle elbow cause the librarian was looking. Plus Fang and the blog was stepping over the line.
That's what happened right before the Erasers came in, but I didn't talk about it because it didn't matter at the time to tell Fang or Iggy or Angel or Gasman any of it.
