Duel Academy of the Dead

Prologue: An Understanding

DISCLAMER: Yugioh GX does not belong to me. I don't like Syrus; if I owned Yugioh GX, Syrus wouldn't have won his entrance exam duel into the school. I give the idea of the title and the plot to Highschool of the Dead. You should watch it- it's a very good series. Woah, after all these years, I'm back.

Jaden was a simple boy. His needs were simple, and his wants were simple; he was never picky. He was complacent with everything as long as he had his duel monsters. Just like everything else about him was simple, so was his love. It was simple, and yet it spoke in volumes. He adored in a sweet, simple, and innocent love. Lust wasn't part of the equation yet- Jaden completely fell in a sort of puppy love where he just wanted to be closer and always together with the person; his greatest desires didn't go further than kissing. It was the dreamy love that every girl dreamed of and that every girl deserved, but so rare that it is pegged as unattainable and impossible.

Zane was a man of strength, intelligence, and class. He is the dream man of many girls, perfect in many ways. Everything about him was strong: the way he looked, the way he acted, the way wielded his Cyber Dragons, and especially the way he loved. He was aloof and preferred to stay away from other people, but that didn't stop him from falling in love. His love was strong and true to his inner core, a fierce love that people believed were miracles.

Alexis had a crush between two people: Zane and Jaden. They both held a special place in her heart. Her adoration for Zane was the dark, seductive, and sexy sort. He was the tall, dark, and handsome man that many girls wanted. He could offer support and security with his strong arms and body and had this intimidating air around him. He was cool.

Jaden was softer. He was a good person to love. He was selfless and kind- a rare trait in people. He was the kind of person to overlook other people's flaws and change other people's lives with just his pure intentions. He was like an angel sent from heaven.

Chazz's love for Alexis was pure and real, but it wasn't like he hadn't dreamed of going further than kissing. He was physically attracted to her, as well as being attracted to her feisty and kind personality, after all. She was the unattainable dream girl that he knew was out of his league, but that didn't stop him from dreaming about her- them being together, even after the academy, for the rest of their lives. So when every time he is rejected by her, it breaks another piece of his already shattered heart.
