A/N~ this is a Christmas present for my beta it is late and for that I am very sorry. it is short and sweet as I tend to be. it is un-beta'd because it seems unfair to make someone beta their present :) I own nothing other wise I promise I would do another season, though just a warning I am American so I haven't seen IT yet :( so you won't here any Merlin from me for a bit well that enough of that byees~

Merlin rolled the paper out in front of him place his gift on the paper and did nothing else. There is no good way to wrap anything but a box. He stared intently at the mug he had bought Arthur, it was plain and simple but for a line of text across it that simply said I'm just one freaking big ray of sunshine this morning. He could purposely make it difficult for Arthur warping it in tape almost completely. Then again he had put off all his wrapping for far too long and it was already christmas eve. He wisher he had a box to put the mug in. He had meant to ask for one when he bought it but the woman at the shop had been so flustered with the christmas rush he didn't want to bother her. He took a deep breath and launched at the mug with ribbon, bows, paper and tape.

Not that Merlin new it upstairs Arthur was having a similar problem. Arthur couldn't wrap to save his life, so he had decided to get all square presents. Then he saw the teddy bear. It was perfect it had a little scarf like the one that Merlin wore and a heart held in front of it with the words i'll keep you berry warm this winter. It was cheesy, so cheesy it hurt. It was so cute it made Arthur want to puke. It was perfect. It also didn't come in a box. He had wrapped all the other presents -badly- and the bear was all he had left. He could not give it to Merlin - he had bought him several other gifts- but Arthur was a stubborn fool. Merlin had to have this bear. He had fought many battles he was not going to lose to a cheesy stuffed bear. He squared himself at his opponent said

"I'm a winner" aloud and set his attack.

The next morning Arthur was grumpy and Merlin was far too happy. But it was christmas and there was presents and coffee, it ended with two presents and a kiss that lasted a lifetime.

"So did you wrap it yourself?"
