Hello! So, this is my first time writing for Undertale, I hope I've kept everyone in character... I hope you like it.

"SANS WAKE UP, IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" Papyrus called from downstairs. Sans slowly climbed out of his bed and slipped on his usual slippers, hoodie, and shorts. He stopped before exiting the room and forced on a large grin. Then he left the room and walked down the stairs to the kitchen.

"spaghetti for breakfast?" Sans stepped in the kitchen.

"NOT JUST ANY SPAGHETTI BROTHER, SPAGHETTI MADE BY THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" Sans smile felt a little more real for a moment, but that didn't last. He left the kitchen and sat down on the sofa to wait for Papyrus to finish cooking.

He sighed, staring blankly as the TV played a rerun of one of Mettaton's game shows. Everything was so pointless. Whatever he did or didn't do, none of it really mattered. A human would come, do whatever they pleased, and then reset. No one else in the Underground remembered any of the previous timelines, except Sans.

There were times when the human who fell down was nice and didn't harm anyone. But eventually they got bored and wanted to see what they could get away with. How much they could kill. That was when Sans had to stop them.

Then there was the newest kid. Sans thought this one was the most brutal he has seen so far. They didn't kill anyone the first time. After they reset, they were nice to everyone once again. They even broke the barrier. Sans's smile drooped a little.

He guessed they got bored. Bringing all the monsters trapped in the Underground wasn't interesting enough. It didn't matter how happy everyone was; the kid was bored so they reset. Then they started killing. His smile dropped even more.

They tried killing only Toriel their first time. Then they reset again, and killed Undyne and Mettaton. Another reset. They only killed his brother. Last time, they killed everyone, including Sans. He's tried to defeat them and make them pay for all they'd done, but he was too weak. But it still wasn't enough for that kid, because they'd reset again.

He hated the kid. They reset over and over like it was some game. They killed, just to see what would happen. They gave everyone their dreams, then tore that life away from them. When would they stop? When would they just let everyone have their happiness? Probably never... Sans wasn't going to hold back anything this time. This time, he would kill them, and stop all of this. He wasn't going to let them hurt his friends again.

"SANS, HERE IS... IS SOMETING WRONG?" Papyrus frowned, setting the two plates of spaghetti down on the table.

"no, i'm fine, just a little tired" he fixed the grin back on his face, beginning to eat the spaghetti.

"OKAY...," Papyrus also began to eat. After they finished Papyrus stood up and took their plates to the overly tall sink.

"I HAVE A GOOD FEELING ABOUT TODAY BROTHER. I THINK WE'LL FINALLY SEE A HUMAN," Papyrus stated, looking excitedly at Sans.

"yea, that'd be good," Sans got up ready to follow his brother out the door. He knew they'd see that human again today. He hated that human so much, but he had to put on a smile. To fool the human and for his brother, he had to pretend everything was still okay.
